Tacos al Fuego in Riverside is *truly that girl* Everything is made fresh — NOTHING frozen — and you can taste it in every bite. ✨
The **salsa bar** alone had me excited ️ I tried every single salsa and honestly loved them all. So much flavor and the perfect little kick!
We ordered the **Appetizer Sampler** and it was the best way to try all the staples
Sopes ✅ Taquitos ✅ Quesadillas ✅ Chips ✅
Everything was delicious and super fresh.
Then we got the **Seafood Sampler**
Butter shrimp, shrimp ceviche, and camaron empanadas… all sooo good and great portions too.
The **drinks** were 10/10
Mango Margarita + Lobos Spicy Pineapple — perfect sweet-to-alcohol ratio. I couldn’t pick a favorite if I tried!
For **dessert**, I went with the Poquito Maz
Churro meets funnel cake with strawberry jam and ice cream… SO GOOD. Literally giving bread pudding vibes in the best way.
Overall, this spot is a MUST if you’re in Riverside

First and foremost the restaurant is very sheik! The bar is trendy and the mural is very cool to look at. The drinks are phenomenal, shout out to the bartender. If you have a big appetite I suggest you order the California burrito which is loaded with carne asada and French fries. They have a $9.99 lunch special with 2 tacos and rice and beans. A item that you must order is the chicken tinga flautas! Trust me those are full of flavor.

The best Mexican food in Riverside! My family and I come by weekly and the food atmosphere and the staff never disappoint. The drinks are the best my favorites being the mango margarita, passion fruit margarita and the Paloma. For food the 3 tire appetizer is my go to! I also love the asada tacos, chorizo burrito and chips and queso. This family owned business knows how to do Mexican right.
They also put on the best events like their paint and sips and street vender parties offering free samples and local shopping.

Today I was in Riverside for work when I was hungry so I went on yelp to look for a good Mexican food place. Tacos Al Fuego popped up so I had to come give it a try. I got the appetizer platter which came with chips and salsa, sopes and taquitos. Wow this thing was delicious and had such a good variety. I also got quesobirria tacos this was so amazing and juicy. Everything here was awesome and the service was so great. This is definitely a 10 out of 10. I will be back next time I’m in Riverside.

Very hit and miss when it comes to the food and the service. Sometimes it tastes just fine (though I am not a big fan of the tiny gourmet tacos as they are impossible to pick up and eat). Sometimes you get lucky with an attentive server. Sometimes you get completely ignored by whoever is on staff. Sometimes the food is stale and not tasty. I will look for more consistency at one of the three or four other Mexican restaurants on this stretch of Van Buren blvd.

Tacos Al Fuego is such a fun spot! The interior is super colorful and well decorated, giving it a lively vibe that makes it perfect for a night out. I loved that they have a salsa bar with so many great options ️ The food was excellent — the Fuego Burrito was huge and loaded with flavor, and the Taco Perron really hit the spot. The mixed drinks were the highlight for me The strawberry margarita was refreshing and the mango chile cocktail had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Can’t wait to come back!

Dianne is the absolute greatest!! We only come when she’s here!! This is the best food, best service and most welcoming place! We get the lunch specials when we have lunch. Two crunchy tacos, beans and rice. The best! Everything we’ve had is over the top though and so delicious! I’ve already finished lunch otherwise I’d leave a photo of the food.

Terrible experience today. Baja tacos came out dripping with grease to the point that the tortillas were soaked. Same with the fried and battered mahi on the tacos. Waiter seemed totally unconcerned when I told him and just kinda shrugged. What?? Same with the chips and salsa. The tortilla chips were greasy and unappetizing. Result: $25 for a meal I could not eat and a waiter’s apathy that was not just disappointing but off-putting to the point it’ll be years before I’ll be back. Sad for a small business when both cook and waitstaff drop the ball and make no effort to make things right. Business owner’s nightmare.
