This place is authentic! We couldn’t have been happier to eat here. I had the hamburger and requested to have beans added, and they did it for me. The salsa was good and there were plenty of limones. The service was perfect, and so was the atmosphere. Next time we visit Rio Grande, we’ll make sure to stop by and eat here again. We had no problem finding a parking spot and the restaurant was clean.

Very delicious home cooked Mexican food. When I went the appetizer they gave us was choriqueso, charro beans and they gave us flan cake at the end. Both were not an extra charge. I’d recommend this place above any place in Starr county. It’s a must visit.

Good food. And service is good also. One thing they may want to do is get headsets for the walkie talkies. Way to loud in a dinning room.

WOW! The charro beans are the best I’ve ever had. The taco plate is tasty, and honestly I haven’t ordered anything there that wasn’t amazing. Prices are low for the quality of food. Definitely worth multiple visits. You will not be leaving hungry.

Grew up coming to Tacos AKA. They’ve been in business so many years and have about 3 different locations, that has to say something about their food and service. I was new to this location and can’t wait to go back! The parrillada was so good along with all the fixings! I was very impressed!
