Highly Recommend! The menu selection is great, the food is phenomenal, and the employees here are exceptional. I moved to Charlotte from California a few months ago and have been searching for great tacos ever since. I noticed a new restaurant opened nearby, so I had to come try it! I’m so glad I did because it satisfied all my taco cravings and I couldn’t have been happier. The combo meal I ordered left me feeling full for the rest of the day. I really appreciate the donation work this restaurant does as well, with every taco purchase they will donate a meal to a child in need. If you haven’t stopped by for a bite to eat, I would suggest Tacos 4 Life!

The food here is always delicious and packed full of flavor. We made a modification to our meal (tofu instead of chicken) and it came out with chicken. The manager came out and apologized. He was so courteous and nice and gave us 2 coupons to use in the future. They have great plant based options and can modify many of their options.

Go get some tacos! I had never eaten at a Tacos 4 Life and had the opportunity to visit for the soft opening of this location. Everyone was great, and the food was amazing. I had a Blackened Mahi-mahi taco and a Hawaiian Shrimp taco and both were delicious. The Hawaiian one was definitely my favorite with both pineapple and coconut mixing in with the shrimp in the most amazing way. 10/10, would recommend.

I like the choices, but what I really love is the puffy corn tortilla on some of the select tacos. So I ordered a two taco meal and asked for that particular tortilla for my tacos. She did ring it up that way, but of course I didn’t get that. The nice gal who brought me my food said she’ll fix it. Came back with one taco fixed, not the other one. It’s important bc they don’t heat up their flour tortillas which are thin and have zero flavor. I gave up and ate. The “meal” comes with a side and a drink. For some reason, unlike every other restaurant in the US, they give you a baby cup so you have to keep getting up to get a refill. The chips and dips trio seems like a good idea, until I tried to dip into the cheese, see photo for reference. The salsa had a watered down basic flavor. This definitely isn’t for connoisseurs of real Mexican food or fancy taco trucks. The nice thing about them is they claim to donate a meal for every meal that is purchased, which I hope is true. This particular location is pretty new, so I was surprised by the little bit of attitude you get from the cashier who clearly wanted to go home. But not before requiring me to input a tip, why is this happening everywhere?

So happy to not be let down by another taco spot in the Steele Creek area! The menu has a ton of options even non-tacos items if that isn’t your thing (judging). The tacos are a great size (not your normal skimpy ones). Trust me 2 tacos is enough I got more than 2 and learned my lesson. They put 2 in the combo for a reason. Queso was great good flavor. I had the Hawaiian shrimp taco, Grilled Chicken taco, And Buffalo Chicken taco. Side of the elote corn. The grilled chicken had great flavor. Loved the pineapple on the Hawaiian shrimp. Buffalo chicken was flavorful and the fried pickles on top had great seasoning individually but wasn’t a fan of that combo. Creamed corn needed more acidity like more lime juice. I will be back and hope that the quality and service doesn’t go downhill with it being new.
