I don’t get to Auburn to often, today I had the chance and as usual I tried a new place and it didn’t disappoint. The service was fast, three food fresh, and the price just right. The fried Avocado was amazing and my buffalo chicken taco hit just the right notes of spicy.

Had a really nice lunch here recently. Charming space with friendly and helpful staff. They recommended the firecracker tacos and they weren’t wrong. Wonderful flavor! Also try the queso dip – has a really nice flavor with spices you don’t get at other places. Overall a nice experience. I’d definitely go again.

We went last night with a group of friends and it was really good! I had a firecracker shrimp taco and a cheeseburger taco, and a couple of passionfruit margaritas and everything was delicious! We ordered chips and queso (added chorizo) and that was really good too! My husband raved about the BBQ pork tacos – he also tried the southern fried chicken and the firecracker chicken. Everything was so good! Would definitely go back!

Couldn’t be more disappointed. Was so excited to return and see if it was going to be the same since reopening. We weren’t told anything about a lunch special so every taco was basically $4.99. The rice changed to some type of orange Cajun rice similar to what’s used in jambalaya. The simple, delicious yellow rice they once had is no longer a thing. This rice was cold and has Cajun seasonings with peppers and onions, very strange for their type of food. The tacos were small and portions were small. They were very shy on the toppings and sauce. It was like $60 for two people. Chips and queso were good. But they need to bring back the yellow rice and lunch menus, the 2 or 3 tacos with a side or two sides options. I hyped my husband up because had never been and he said it was okay. He was expecting much better based on what the community said.

I’m so glad this restaurant is back! The food is consistently delicious — I especially love the jerk chicken taco and the veggie taco with fried avocado. I do think the atmosphere is a little lacking, but it’s a great, casual, inexpensive place for a solid meal.

Went there to celebrate a friend’s birthday on a Wednesday night, so we got to the resturant around 7:30 pm. There was wait time for 20 mins and we got our tables at 7:57pm. The ordeal started after we got to our table, we were famished as we ordered our starters immediately around 8:00pm. Thankfully, at least we got our starters of chips and queso in 5 mins since ordering. But we had to wait for an additional hour for our entrees. All we had until then were the chips, salsa and queso. The hour long wait made us hog on the last bit of chips (can be seen in the pic along) that were left in our basket and not to forget, our water (much like a savior) as we didn’t plan on drinking that night. It was too long of a wait time for our food to arrive and finally it was served at 8:55pm which wasn’t even scrumptious after all that waiting. Moreover, the staff were already prepping for closing time and we hardly had time to enjoy our meal. Neither our mood nor time permitted ordering any additional entree’s as we left the place disappointed and deep regrets. The person who waited our table was apologetic for the waiting time caused by chaotic times but that can’t change the fact that our special night was already ruined.

My husband and I ate here for a late lunch today. We live in Georgia and came here for work. We met the owner and he was awesome. The service, food and drinks were also awesome. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone.
