Anything with Birria in it is hella good. I got he Birria fries but left out some stuff bc I’m picky. But it was absolutely delicious nonetheless. I wished I lived in Oregon just to eat here regularly. only eat half of it and already started to feel full.

Today was second time there. Owner greeted us, talked to us, very kind and even gifted us a desert. Today I had a tooth pulled but didn’t want to miss a chance to eat here again, and they made me a very yummy breakfast burrito that didn’t hurt my tooth. My wife and I love this place.

The tacos were pretty much like the ones back in Mexico, that’s pretty good considering we are not in LA. flavor presentation was excellent and they were very warm!

My original review is below. Maybe I was having an off day? Came for chilaquiles and tacos rojos today and both were excellent! If you ask real nice they might make your chilaqueles with over easy eggs instead of scrambled. The tacos rojos came with a dipping sauce like an aujus. Soooo good.
Strange out-of-the-way location but it definitely has an authentic vibe. “A Mexican restaurant on Chevy way, it has to be great!” I’m not sure I ordered the right things? They had a special, five street tacos for five dollars so I went with that and I also got their french fries and substituted Al Pastore meat with everything on it. They have a little salsa bar so you can self serve. I didn’t think any of the sauces were very good, the hot was not hot at all and there were no fresh options like fresh jalapeños or onions. If I come back I will probably get a burrito of some type. I was hoping the flavors would pop more, I was hoping for some spice, I got neither. The workers were nice. Very blue-collar place to eat, lots of construction workers etc. usually that’s a good sign. My advice is to study the menu and know clearly what you’re going to get before you come. There is limited outside seating available. Half the customers were masked, half not.

Paid 15 flippin’ dollars for a burrito that was stuffed FULL of “refried beans”, rice, precisley 6 aspirin sized pieces (no exageration) of Carne asada that was scraped from a counter food container that looked like it had been there for maybe a day, AND precisely 3 shrimp that were hand thrown into a microwave. Burrito was roughly the size of an extended man’s hand.
I called ahead for pickup, wasn’t ready when I arrived and watched them make it. 2:15PM, one other person at a table, empty.

First time eating birria ever and had the birria taquitos. I am hooked and pissed that I live 2hrs away from such phenomenal food. Very filling, I had to tap out. It was so delicious I wish I could have taken the rest home safely but we had errands.

Great street-style tacos only $1.75 and sometimes only $1.00. Best I’ve had since leaving California’s Central Valley. Also great burritos, chile based salsas, and good chips. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick, inexpensive, and highly appetizing meal. Excellent breakfast, too!

Portions were less than expected. Most “authentic Mexican” places serve two small/thin tortillas together and a portion of protein (chicken, beef, pork, etc) topped with cilantro and onion. These folks serve one small/thin tortilla with a tablespoon’ish of meat and some cilantro and onion. Flavors were good, and the tortillas are cooked with lard. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean.

We stopped in after a flight to grab a bite and were amazed how good it was, especially for being in a commercial area off the beaten paths. I highly recommend this restaurant for the authentic food and excellent condiment station. We will be back whenever we’re in the neighborhood.
