I went to TaColumbus yesterday, loved it so much that I dragged my wife back today. The tacos are fantastic and fairly priced—I tried marinated pork, beef tongue, and fried beef, but the pork stole my heart. Pro tip: each taco comes with two tortillas, so if you’re crafty, you can stretch it into two.
The hibiscus tea was another win—bold and refreshing. It starts off a little strong, but once the ice melts, it’s just perfect.
I also love how TaColumbus has grown from a small, street-style spot into a bigger, hip space with bold graffiti and a unique vibe. Columbus needed a place like this, and I’m so glad we have it now.
One small suggestion: the sign out front is a bit hidden (especially if you’re coming from the Five Guys side). A banner or two would help new visitors find this gem more easily

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious lunch yesterday! Everything tasted amazing and fresh, I think the tortillas may even be homemade because they are the best I’ve ever had…I think it may be our new favorite taqueria
I had two al pastor tacos and my husband had a chicken torta, then we shared the guacamole.
Everyone was so friendly as well! Not sure why we didn’t try it sooner, but I definitely recommend!

A family favorite. I’m so glad to see how they have grown and developed this location over time, and the tacos and tortas have remained great and appropriately priced. Salsas and toppings are delicious and don’t hold back on spice. Hope to continue to enjoy for a long time!

Loved the tacos, the fresh juices, the salsas, the murals and the music. They now have a decent selection of vegetarian options. Thanks!

I always enjoy getting lunch here! The food feels very fresh and authentic. It’s also reasonably priced. Moreover, the seating area is great and can accommodate large groups making it a good option for dine-in.

Prices are stupid. $14. for three little soft tacos! Four of us ate there for $67!!! No waiters. Served fast food style. Minimal decor. No extras like chips and salsa. Music was so loud we couldn’t hear the guy taking orders and he couldn’t hear us. Minimalist experience for upscale pricing. It’s a nah for me. There are better Mexican restaurants that wait on the tables, offer more to eat for less. Won’t be back.

My new favorite taco shop! It’s pretty small, with not much for signage, so it’s easy to miss, but it’s definitely worth seeking out! It’s a very clean shop. I was quite happy about that. The tacos were amazing! Best I’ve had! Tried some chorizo, chicken, beef, and pastor. Unfortunately they did not have lengua the day I went, but hopefully next time, I will get to try that! It was all served with side dishes of onions, radishes, limes, and a variety of sauces. Very impressed by how much you get for your money!

This is my favorite place to get food in Columbus and I always look forward to eating here when I am home from school. Their birria is SO good and I also really like their tacos. I love the fresh radish and the sauces/limes they provide. The grandma who brings out the food is so kind as well!

Definitely up there for THE BEST authentic tacos in Columbus, Indiana. Been going there since they were at the smaller ice cream shop next door and now they have a cool upgrade!
I usually get the hawaiian alambre (comes in half a pineapple) and the HORCHATA!
Definitely don’t miss out on this.
