We live close by and love coming here for a lunch or dinner. Tacos are really good and beer selection is diverse. If the Warriors or 49ers or Giants are playing great to sit at the bar! The staff is great and service is fast! They having dining outside on Chestnut St which is fun too! I definitely recommend coming here for all these reasons!

Tacolicious is the move when you want Mexico City style street tacos with a trendy, California twist. Service was great! I ordered the lunch special: choice of two tacos with pickled onions, three signature salsas, and soup or salad. The variety of tacos to choose from will hit all of your cravings, and there is something on the menu for everyone. I chose the Invierno with butternut squash, brussels sprouts, cashew cream, poblano, and red bell pepper, and the Mushroom “Carnitas” with brussels sprouts slaw, cotija cheese, house made orange sauce, kale, and refried black beans. Both were delicious! The small Marina Girl Salad—featuring avocado, chopped romaine, cotija cheese, cucumber, jicama, pepitas, radish, and a jalapeño vinaigrette—was excellent and freshly made. Affordable prices and plentiful portions. Has a colorful, fun, lively, sunny atmosphere with great music and friendly bartenders and food runners. Fantastic beer list, reasonably priced drinks, particularly strong cocktails. I loved the Pasión, a spicy, fruity blend of Milagro Silver Tequila, citrus, habanero, and passionfruit. Perfect for date nights or catching up with friends over way too many happy hour margaritas. Will be back soon! Particularly interested in trying the house made fresh pressed juices next time.

Good tacos, but average for the price. The corn tortillas disintegrated as soon as I picked it up, so I just ate them with a fork. Not a big deal, but soggy nonetheless. I gave the cold brew horchata a try and not a flavor I can get into. I love a horchata by itself but not with cold coffee. Cool concept and I’m sure there are others who love it. Friendly, fast service. Food was at the table in minutes!

David and Javier, oh my God, they are the best bartenders I’ve ever met! They are super friendly and kind, making you feel like you’re part of the family… I’m from Chicago, but I don’t care. I loved this place.

Great neighborhood tacos place. I especially enjoyed the Guajillo braised beef and Coca-Cola braised carnival tacos. Dishes came right on time. Would definitely come back.

I’ve eaten here off the regular menu about 5-6 times. I like the atmosphere, the pitchers of margaritas, and the food is generally OK, but geared towards the neighborhood.

Tried the new happy hour menu, but it’s even more geared towards gringos than their regular menu. The HH nachos $8 come with canned cheese sauce, and the HH Clown tacos $8 for 2 were filled with a bean/meat paste. $8 house Margarita. $32 with tax and tip for a drink and 2 snacks. Anyhow, still a decent place to watch a game at the bar and have a drink + chips & salsa (free). I found the food to be ordinary and Marina-priced, though. Service was lukewarm, not cold and depends on the server/bartender.

If you’re in San Francisco and craving tacos, Tacolicious on Chestnut Street is a must-visit spot! We recently stopped in and ordered four different tacos, and each one had its own unique flavor, clearly crafted with care. Every taco was delicious, and the sauces that accompanied them were the perfect finishing touch. Impressively, they offer four sauces ranging from mild to spicy, all homemade and clearly prepared with fresh ingredients. The sauces truly complemented the flavors of the tacos without overpowering them.

The service was another highlight. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better. They didn’t just serve our food; they genuinely made sure we had everything we needed for a great meal.

Tacolicious combines fantastic food with quick, friendly service, and we can’t wait to go back!

Had 4 Tacos and the beet salad for a late lunch! Recommend both since the beets were freshly done and served w goat cheese to add some salty flavor to them. Tried Fish and Chicken taco and I would recommend the fish taco over the chicken which lacked a bit of character compared to to the fried fish.

The service was a bit slow but they were busy.

Fun, reasonably noisy, Mexican restaurant, with reasonably priced (for SF) tasty and solid food, that was packed when we dined there last minute on a Saturday evening before going to a film. We didn’t have a reservation and happily sat at the bar. The bartender-staff were attentive, friendly and very accommodating. Our vegan diner selected a tasty salad while I went for a two-taco $15 chicken taco plate that comes with a selection of four distinct salsas. The tasty table salsa and chips were refilled upon request without complaint. We were able to get in and out with ease in under an hour.

Service was very nice, quick and kept checking in regularly.
The atmosphere was so nice and welcoming. Loved the plants a lot!
They serve chips and salsa as soon as you get seated – it’s bottomless. So you can have a lot of chips and salsa!
But most important – the food was so good! All tacos tasted so good, very fresh and yummy!
