I stop in here for tacos almost every morning. The food is always good. Would be nice if they’d fill the tacos a little more now that the prices have gone up. The habanero hot sauce is my favorite. I love salsa Verde but it’s never spicy enough so I’ll just stick with the habanero. I won’t knock them down for those things because the service is good and fast. The food is good. Just need more meat in the taco. Also more beans in the bean n cheese. Overall love this place.

Came in the employees were so nice, ordered 3 mini tacos al carbon asada. The service was so fast for a to go order. The food was very good and everything was fresh. The verde salsa is delicious, the tacos were very good and packed a lot of flavor, and the beans had nice flavor. I added a new photo of the menu because the one online is blurry. I really recommend this place and I wish it was open later in the day because this would be the perfect late night meal.

Best authentic Mexican on the south side of the lake. My husband and I both ordered their mini tacos Al carbon asada. They have three different kinds of fresh salsa – mild green, chipotle and habanero. Forgive the half eaten picture… it hit the spot.

Was a good place til they started charging 4 dollars per friggin taco. Wasn’t the best for flavor but it was affordable, I always get 4 tacos for around $8 been doing it forever. Now it’s $4 for ONE mediocre taco. If you wanna spend that much money your better off going to Mimas Tacos on the north side, SUBSTANTIALLY better food for the same price. Also my Tortilla was half ass cooked.

You can eat in but it’s really for tacos to go. Family run and Esme is the best.
I go early every Saturday for tacos. I highly recommend them for carry out tacos. I did have an excellent lunch of Street Tacos with a friend and we ate in. We really enjoyed it so if you’re in Statesville I highly recommend them.

The young girl who makes the tacos seems a bit grumpy whenever I visit. It’s always a bit of a struggle to get her to greet me warmly. If she’s not happy with her job, maybe she should consider finding a different one that suits her better. It’s not just her English that’s a concern, but also her presence in front of the counter. The tacos themselves are nothing extraordinary, but the cashier is very friendly and always seems to be on top of things.

I come here every Saturday. The women who work here are great and I love the food. There is something about the cheese on the tacos that they use or the way they prepare it that makes me crave it every weekend. It’s runny like Velveeta but fresher tasting..I can’t really describe it. This is the best Mexican food on the South side of the lake in my opinion.
