So, this is my first time eating at any Taco Villa. When I walked in the place was super clean, staff welcomed me in and they were so nice about walking me through the menu since I have never been to one. I got two tacos and a combo burrito and my wife a taco salad. Price was LOW so I was curious if food would be good. It came out hot and fresh! All of it was so so good! Word or caution I ordered a large fry and it was gigantic!!!! Great place and Alonzo is so very nice! Thank you Alonzo for such a great visit!

The employees are always so friendly and seem genuinely glad to see me. My order is always right and hot. I prefer to take my food to go because the inside of the building smells like there’s a sewage problem. The smell is always there every time I go.

I love that they have a fresh self serve area with peppers, salsa’s and Pico de gallo. When they filled the tacos with meat, you get a big portion compared to Taco Bell. It’s amazing as you get a good bang for your buck here.

Taco Villa is a West Texas classic; fond memories from growing up and more recent. I went today for something more vegetarian friendly and cost effective. I must say, the first and best thing about this visit was the front counter person, Robert. He was initially explaining kid meal options to the family in front of me, with courtesy and humor. He was friendly, funny and frankly, a bright spot and breath of fresh air with his banter and customer service skills. He was quick, efficient and kind. He even checked on me later in the meal. I typically get a Guadalajara tostada, (guacamole tostada) and love that it’s such a tasty and healthy veggie type option. (I try to be more wfpb but make allowances for a little meat here and there). Today, I chose the guacamole salad, and it’s just as good, especially w the crispy bowl. Prices have increased, but that’s true everywhere, unfortunately. I love the fact they still include black olives on their items and their unique blend of taco meat, which is more mooshy than crumbley. The crispy chicken taco had a good amount of meat in it, very flavorful. All in all, it’s still the classic Taco Villa experience and Robert just added flair to the flavor
