One of the best places I ate during a recent trip to Chattanooga. Absolutely worth the drive. Quesabirria was amazing. Server was so nice and friendly. I live an hour and a half away in GA and I’ve seriously considered planning a road trip solely to go back to Taco Town just to have those quesabirrias again.

The polo was yellow & obviously old, smelled awful. All of the rice was undercooked. The steak was slimy & undercooked, or just really old causing the slimy grey appearance. The birria had potential but it was so cold the meat was hard, & there was a hair in the box with both tacos. The tinga had some strings of what appeared to be paper towel or maybe rag fibers? Not sure. The cheese dip was cold, hard top, not good. I got a full refund and will not be eating here again. Honestly, I trashed every bit of it. Also I did express delivery so none of these items should have been cold, it was less than a ten minute delivery.

Food was authentic and amazing !! We had the Burrito Supremo and the 3 tacos (shrimp, chicken, steak). The spicy shrimp is really spicy in my opinion. The burrito was large and had to get the other half to go because I couldn’t finish it. The server was really kind and could tell it was our first visit and was quick to help answer any questions. We live about 45 min away but will be back anytime we’re in town !! Loved it !!!

This is the best authentic Mexican food we have ate in a long time. Reasonably priced and generous portions. Service is also excellent! Definitely will be coming here many more times. Highly recommend!

I say this as someone that lived on the west coast for over a decade. The tacos here are outstanding. We tried as many as two people could reasonably consume. The suadero (rose meat) our server recommended was delightful, the barbacoa wonderful, and the campechano she also recommended…it was very good as well. My favorite is always the al pastor so I tried them and they were amazing. Their verde hot sauce is also delicious. I would buy that if they bottled it.
There were a few hiccups…the menu has all sorts of pricing marks on it, so it’s difficult to decipher what things actually cost without asking your server. Prices are very reasonable though. Also, the salsa tastes like canned tomatoes. I physically saw other ingredients in the salsa but only could taste canned tomatoes. The chips are very good though so I ended up putting their hot sauce on them. I also can’t doc them a star because the tacos were that good.
The servers here are so super-sweet. Three or four different ladies assisted our table and they were all helpful and extremely polite.
Update: They have new menus with current pricing. I’ve added them to my photos. Thanks y’all!

It’s always so good here! I don’t like many Mexican restaurants but this place is authentic! Don’t get very much authentic in Chattanooga! Everything I have ordered has met my expectations. The spicy queso with chorizo is delicious and they always have specials.
Oh yes, everything here is homemade it seems and it’s family run!
Edited: I am so sad I’m moving away however I will be back when I’m in town!! I would suggest everyone try the Al Pastor tacos if you like pork! It’s my favorite

Quiet little place off to the side in this little plaza. Was headed to CiCi’s for lack of options in the area I’m staying. Thankfully I noticed it taco town! Attentive staff, fresh made salsa, quick and accommodative service. Would recommend the fajitas. 10/10

I can’t think of another place that actually has better tacos. Food was fresh as can be and the crispy tacos seemed to have been made just before it was plated and served. I have been told their spicy menu is super spiced. I didn’t try the Spivey stuff but best believe I’ll be back here again for tacos!

Stopped on a lark. Best Tacos on this side of town. 10.99 3 taco lunch special with rice beans and chips. The hot sauce is delicious and the salsa is very good. But the taco? Had the pork and a chorizo. Epic.
