My friend and I were staying at the hotel and wandered in for a cocktail. We were met by Michelle tending bar. Not only is she fully capable of mixing a good drink but her customer service was excellent. She made us feel like we were having drinks in her home. She is warm, quick witted and hard working. She is quite capable of managing a heavy customer load without missing a beat. The food wasnt bad but nothing spectacular. The atmosphere was fine. You can get a decent cocktail anywhere, but it was Michelle that beckoned us back a few more times. An employee like this should definitely be appreciated.

A hidden gem that is undiscovered and we found using groupon. I was very surprised at walking in. Awesome atmosphere! Nice music ,darts ,pool table , multiple T.V.s with a full bar. Food was maticulously,prepared,freshly ingredients added to perfection creating not only a clean fresh great tasting meal but visual food experience also. Amazing quality and large portions. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and I’m not easy to impress… Friendly and attentive staff. Over all one of the best food experiences locally.

We go here once a week for breakfast. Julie, the morning chef, makes the best breakfast every time. Everything is perfectly consistent. Julie the server is friendly, cheerful and efficient. The prices are so reasonable. I don’t know why it’s called taco teq…whatever. For breakfast this is a hidden gem!!! Don’t tell anyone. Best grilled English muffin, home fries and sausage gravy!!! Eggs are perfect every time!

We were staying at the hotel attached and decided to have lunch here. We sat at the bar and were served by Michelle. She was the sweetest person. We sat there for hours chatting & laughing while she managed a hectic load of customers all by herself. Never once did anyone go without & she made all of us feel so welcomed and taken care of. You have a true gem providing service at your establishment, may that never be taken for granted!

We got the groupon and were excited to try it based on the reviews. After going there I am kinda confused. This is not a taco or a tequila place.. I was under the impression we were going to at least a decent Mexican themed restaurant . What we were received were microwaved burrito bowls. They have 2 brands of tequila patron and Hornitos . This is not even a Mexican restaurant rather a place that is pretending to be to attract customers everything else on the menu is American bar food.
The bartender is also the one who prepares the food and everything in there is some sort of microwave/air fryer food . She was struggling to take care of customers and the place was less than 20 percent full on a Friday night. Her attitude was rude, she told us not to order like a quarter of the menu and said she previously got in trouble for doing the exact same thing, it seemed like she had her family members hanging out at the bar and were yelling at them
Our groupon included drinks and we were charged for them, the food sucked, and we feel tricked.
I ordered a mixed drink, that was to include
Vermouth. Rather than tell us she can’t make it bc here vermouth was too old… She made it without it without informing me or giving me a choice of ordering something different. When I took a sip I was expecting it to be a mixed drink and I loudly coughed and gagged bc I wasn’t expecting to be driving it almost straight and the bar tender laughed at me? In what world does she make a drink improperly without giving you the choice to change and then shame you bc you almost throw up when you take a sip?
The churro was hard as a rock it tasted like something from 711 that had been out all day
The pros are that it was a cool place to play darts and that’s about it

Been staying at the Quality Inn while in town for work. So I’ve been spending alot of time at Taco Tequila. Food has always been good with the fish tacos being my favorite. Bar staff is awesome and my drinks are always on point. If you’re looking for a low key vibe with good food I couldn’t suggest a better place. If you’re staying at the Hotel with kids don’t worry about the kids they are welcomed.

This place is by far the best Lounge in the area. A true hidden Gem. The new management has definitely turned this establishment into a family friendly experience. The cooks are amazing with a wide variety of scrumptious food for even the pickiest eater. The bartenders Jasmine & Brenda specialize in hospitality & exquisite service. This place is always clean to a T. Prize winning Bingo Night every Wednesday & loads of TV’s with every game you want to watch. You won’t be dissatisfied at all here. They even have live music on some nights. Feels good to be in an environment that makes you want to return multiple times a week.

O missed that this was attached to hotel but since we had already stopped decided to eat there anyways. Or group was the only ones in there and for a Mexican restaurant over half the menu was something other than Mexican.
Part i really didn’t like was that in my order they substituted a difference meat choice and since i was with a group i told them i would eat it to keep group on same schedule.
At check out they never mentioned the mistake and charged full price for everything. Not cool

Not sure how this place has 5 stars. The food was awful. We ordered wings and the center was still cold. Pizza wasn’t cooked all the way. The sodas were flat. Bartender never checked on us once but was worried about flirting with all the guys there. It wasn’t even packed that night. The Quality Inn hotel we stayed at said they had 50% off food but the bartender did not want to give us 50% off. Horrible service & food – only giving a one star because I do not have the option to give a 0 star.
