First time visiting today and what I can say it’s a small shop but very noticeable from outside so it wouldn’t be hard to find. I will start with the service, the service could be better but it was lacking attentiveness to me and it wasn’t as if I was welcomed either. The lady serving didn’t seem happy taking my order either. But the atmosphere of the music was nice. I got the chorizo tacos and chicken tacos. The chorizo taco was good by itself without any sauces. The sauces itself could use a little more flavor though. The chicken taco was greatly seasoned and flavorful but was dry which was disappointing. Would I come back? Maybe if I’m in the area.

2. **Customer Service**: The response to my request for refried plantains felt unwelcoming. It’s important for customers to feel their requests are valued, especially when it concerns food quality.
3. **Environment**: The temperature inside the restaurant was 88 degrees Fahrenheit, as indicated by my Garmin watch. This made the dining experience uncomfortable.
I believe these issues need addressing to improve overall customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, this was my first and last visit, but I hope you take this feedback to make positive changes for future patrons.

Got takeout from here, ended up getting three tacos and they were delicious. Definitely a hole in the wall sort of place and the food is good. Definitely was surprised to find such quality Mexican food without so much hype. There is a bit of seating in the store, but would say this is more of the to go type place.

Delicious tacos! I ordered the shrimp, carnitas, chicken and chicken tinga tacos today and they were SO good and so fresh! It’s definitely a tiny “out-of-the-way” spot, but when I got there, there was already a line of people waiting on orders- which is usually a good sign. I will absolutely be back if I’m ever in town again. So so good! And the people who work there were really friendly and accommodating. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area. It’s right off Broadway on a little one way street (Keap St) and it’s next to impossible to find parking but your efforts will be rewarded! Only complaint was the tres leches cake 🙁 I am super picky when it comes to tres leches and flan so I’m almost never happy when I order them from different places, and their tres leches was not so great. It definitely wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t really fresh, the cake itself was too rough/coarse, it randomly had canned peach chunks in the middle (? weird) and it just was NOT traditional tres leches. (Side note: I’ve been searching all of NY to find a great tres leches and have yet to find one…so if anyone out there can point me in the general direction of a really good tres leches PLEASE DO SO!) Thank you!

The food is excellent. They just dont have their waiter/waitress skills together. The food is legit. When youre done eating you’ll have to tell them or sit for an hour wondering. They dont even have a tip option on their credit card machine. Which shows they’ll never refill your water.
