Taco Maya began with the desire to provide a unique dining experience by combining authentic Mexican food, as well as fusion items inspired from various cultures. To us, that meant quality food and people. Our goal was simple, to open a restaurant serving delicious food made from scratch with the freshest ingredients. Taco Maya offers a cozy, warm and family-oriented ambiance. We value the importance of a family night-out or a business meeting. We are passionate about our dishes, each one made from heart and designed with pride from head Chef Patricio Elizondo. I don’t do this often but the food here was really lacking in flavor and the meat was dry. I ordered a steak burrito and my wife ordered steak tacos with beans and rice. Everything was just bland..we needed to salt the tacos, burrito , beans and rice. The meat just seemed like it was cooked and sitting in a bin and not cooked to order. Service was great, margarita flight was delicious, place was clean but the food was just lacking. I can’t see myself returning.

Taco Maya Is delicious. Though the prices have become a bit steep since the location opened in Bloomingdale, the quality and amount of the food that you receive makes up for the price. I always enjoy getting the chips and salsa with extra salsa on the side and the steak burrito bowl as well. Though the inside of the restaurant is a bit small, the atmosphere is friendly, and the workers are very nice. I often DoorDash from this location and they have forgotten my salsa A couple times, so I would say the only negative feedback about this place is that it is hard to contact the restaurant to receive the missed item that was already paid for

I had an incredible experience at Taco Maya! The tacos are absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and perfectly cooked meats. Whether you’re into classic street tacos or something more unique, there’s something on the menu for everyone. The tortillas were warm and fresh, and the salsas added just the right amount of kick.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick to make recommendations when I wasn’t sure what to try. You can tell they really care about their food and their customers. Everything came out fast, hot, and exactly as ordered.
If you’re craving authentic, flavorful tacos and want a place that treats you like a valued guest, Taco Maya is the spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Fast service, and delicious food! Love the Nashville Hot Cauliflower, Paneer tacos and their Nachos! Nice place if you’re bored of the usual taco as they have a good variety of tacos offered on their menu.

Their chips and a nice variety of fresh made delicious salsas were very nice. They also had several choices of flavored Margaritas that boast fresh juices vs. from a bottle or can! I requested a non-alcoholic guava margarita which was exotic and very flavorful. The appetizer of waffle fries with creme, guacamole, tomato and jalepeno atop was a neat change up vs just chips.
Duo taco plate of chicken and a veggie taco were very good and generously portioned. They packed a lot of flavor. Beans and rice accompaniments were ok. The warm caramel churros for desert were excellent!
Everything was plated very nicely. The chefs are directly from Mexico so we had an authentic taste profile in the food served.

Went to Taco Maya for the first time last night and the food and vibe was amazing. The chicken tinga taco is so delicious! It’s so hard to get tinga right and this place def met my tinga expectations lol
For food/drinks:
10/10-fries a la mexicana: LOVED that they use waffle fries instead of the normal chips for this!
Similar to loaded nachos but with fries – super delicious
9/10 – tinga taco: spices were so delicious, really loved it
8/10 – vegetarian fiesta taco: I’ve never had a vegetarian taco before and surprisingly I didn’t “miss” the meat
10/10 – Barbie margarita: was not overly sweet and tasted very fresh! You can taste a difference in their tequila (which one of the owners supplies from her tequila business) and it def elevated the drink IMO
9/10 – churros with caramel and chocolate sauce: not overly sweet and tasted very very fresh! Really loved this dessert
The owners and staff and very close and like family and you can definitely see that in how they interact together and make the place so welcoming. Shout out to Patricio for the amazing family recipes and bringing his culture in the kitchen. Food is made with love and you can feel it!
So happy I tried out this place and I hope to be back soon to try more of the 27 different tacos they offer.
