Yum!!! If you’re looking for a place to grab delicious bougie burgers, handhelds and pizza – look no further! This place was terrific! The staff were warm, friendly and the atmosphere was cozy, casual and comfortable. The homemade soup left us wanting more! They were serving sweat heat chicken chili that was rich in flavor and the perfect amount of heat. The Ruben was fantastic and the Oh My Gourd pizza with Brussel sprouts, squash and goat cheese was amazing!!! There’s nothing but great things to rave about here. We would love to come back again!

Nice gem in the northwoods of MN. Food was good although I was served the wrong sandwich. The mistake was corrected promptly and our wait staff was very pleasant. The seating is unpadded wooden benches and chairs. The atmosphere is quaint and unique. They offer a nice variety of foods including vegetarian and vegan options and a bar serving beer and mixed drinks.

Iron Range Eatery is one of our favorite spots to eat in the area. The food is consistently great, with a menu that has a really nice variety so there is something for everyone. Everything we have tried has been fresh and flavorful.
The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The vibe is relaxed and inviting, and the patio is especially beautiful when the weather is nice.
Anytime friends are visiting from out of town, this is one of the first places I recommend. Iron Range Eatery is a great local spot with great food, great people and a great setting.

We had a very disappointing experience here tonight. I ordered the “award winning” braised short ribs which came with a potato and vegetables. The short ribs were good for the first 2 bites but that was all I got before I was hit with *ALL* the fat. The ribs were jiggling when the server set down the plate. I realize that this is a fattier cut of meat but where was the actual meat?
I tried to fill up on the vegetables but they were seasoned with way too much minced garlic. Our bill was almost $70 for 2 people with a tip. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Yes, the vibe, menu, and quality of our food was outstanding, but it was the staff that you could tell knew that service makes a place. Our server was thoughtful and hilarious, great with our kids. The bartender was on it immediately with options and apologies when an ingredient in the mocktail I ordered was out. The person who brought our food was just as nice. Dill chicken sandwich was amazing. Best side greens ever, all others will disappoint me now. Great mocktail selection. Will be a must any time we’re in town.

This is a very nice, quaint little eatery in Crosby, Mn! John was our host and was very welcoming and friendly! Iron Range Eatery is certainly one of my new favorites in the North Country! A great experience throughout. The food was amazing as I had one of the best, most tender rib-eyes I’ve had in a long time, and you Must try the White chicken chili! The braised short ribs were succulent! Iron Range Eatery is a Must stop while you’re in town!

We got a classic pizza to share super nummy. The atmosphere was super nice. We stopped in here while charging our car at the library. Inside and outside seating available. Staff was so friendly. The pizza tasted so great. Really wish I lived closer but I’ll make the 2 hour drive to eat here again.

First off, this is one of those rare places that would actually deserve a sixth star. We were immediately greeted at the door by the host. Behind the bar lawford, ask to choose our seat anywhere.We wanted to. Ordered a couple of sides to split. Ordered the poutine and the roasted vegetables.
Iron rage eatery has a very impressive take on a poutine with French fries and an awesome brisket along with Red onions and a fantastic sauce with crumble cheese and basil(?). Have never seen a take on poutine done this way before, but the Iron Range Eaterery pulled it off. Very delicious and awesome blend of flavors.
Now. As to the roasted vegetables. Wow. A delightful assortment of Cauliflower, Onion, Eggplant, Mushrooms. Carrots, and Red Peppers. Roasted to perfection, tender and not overdone.
My companion also mentioned how good the chimirchurri sauce was, and how it added a zing that made the veggies perfect.
The veggies also came with a side of ranch.
The service was excellent too. Our server was friendly, helpful, fast, and gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted. Just simply fantastic service all the way around and an enjoyable customer experience.
I agree with other Posters that there is a great vibe here just like others have stated.
You would do yourself well to visit the Iron Range Eatery, in my opinion this makes Crosby MN a destination if you want great food and excellent service. Oh, and the portions are massive, and the prices very affordable. Its worth the gas!

Wow! This is absolute some amazing food. I had a hard time choosing what to get, the menu items all sounded good.Had to start with poutine, it’s hard to find and was great! Burgers had great flavor and the ham and cheese was delicious, super tasty with creamy cheese. Definitely will be back next time I’m in town. The outdoor seating area looks like a nice place to hang out too.
