Our first time in was disappointing, but we gave them another opportunity and they excelled. We have been in the last two Sundays to watch the 49ers games. Service has been excellent, food has been great, and the atmosphere has been nice. They are very accommodating to get the game you want to watch on a TV near you. There are dozens of beers on tap to choose from and you can get samples to help before ordering an entire beer. This may very well become a Sunday staple for us.

I really wanted a table in the corner, however they were busy and it would be quite a while before they had a table for one so I took a seat at the bar. Well I had a perfect view of the football game I generally don’t care to sit at the bar because I don’t drink alcohol.
From start to finish I took the recommendations of the bartender starting with the spinach dip and chips. The spinach dip was creamy and flavorful and I could’ve eaten twice as much as was provided. I could have ordered two of these and just sat and watched the game.
I ended up taking half of the Philly steak and cheese to go. It was hot, melty, cheesey, beefy and very hearty! The sweet potato fries will change your life! Awesome!
I finished my meal before halftime and wanted a little something sweet at the top of the 4th Quarter. After the first bite of those crispy fried beignets with the sweet salted caramel syrup and whipped cream, I could’ve just put the spoon down and buried my face in the plate like a pig rooting for truffles! I’ve been home alone, I might have. However being in public and not wanting to make a spectacle of myself, for almost 10 minutes my focus never left the plate as I tried to spoon the perfect ratio of beignet and salted caramel apple syrup and whipped cream together. I paid the bill and dismissed myself just prior to begin licking the plate clean.
You only live once, ordered the beignets!!!

The food smells. The restaurant smells.
The food (chicken tenders) smelled and tasted badly. Whomever packed my to go didnt bother to secure the Honey mustard container and had it upside down. Got home and honey mustard was everywhere. This is not a place I personally will attempt again. What in the hell is that smell that permeates through the restaurant and the food? Fix it

I stopped by Taco Mac in Macon recently and had a solid experience overall. The food was good — not necessarily mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable. I tried a couple of their classic items (wings and a burger), and both were well-prepared and flavorful. The wings were crispy and had a good amount of sauce, and the burger was juicy and cooked just right. The menu has a wide variety of options, especially if you’re into bar-style food or are looking for something casual and satisfying.
What really stood out to me was the service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave some great recommendations, which we appreciated. Drinks came out quickly, and even though it was a busy evening, we never felt like we were waiting too long for anything.
The atmosphere is lively, perfect for watching a game or grabbing food with friends. Overall, Taco Mac in Macon is a solid choice if you’re looking for good food, great service, and a laid-back vibe. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town.

The food was good however the waitress could definitely use improvement. Everyone one that worked there looked like they didn’t want to be there and weren’t that welcoming.

I left a review when this place first opened under my primary account (Mars Brown) I gave a rave review about how amazing and welcoming they were. That was last year March 2025. I went recently and the atmosphere felt like “what are yall doing here?” It felt super unwelcoming and the person in the front gave a few nasty looks every time she walked past. It was so weird. The whole experience felt like we was in a 1950’s dinner with a “no _______ allowed” sign. I’m never to jump to this type of accusation unless the feeling is there. People have bad days so I get it but I witnessed the warmth to other customers and the dismay to myself and my wife. Never going back. No free meal or discount can make up for that feeling. This was our “spot” the first place we went to after we closed on our house together and the staff that welcomed us then, was nice and accommodating. This felt like a new wave of staff.

Meh! Thats the food here, just meh!⁸ Do people actually like the food, or is that the alcohol talking? I order the brisket burger, Burger Kings tastes the same, and this one is “fresh”. My burger came with a “side” of coleslaw as you can tell by the picture it should have been called a “nibble” or “taste” of coleslaw. A 1 oz condiment cup for a side? Come on now! I would be embarrassed as a restaurant owner to call that a side. My wife got shrimp tacos that lit her mouth on fire, she actually had tears coming out of her eyes! The menu does not say they are spicy specifically! Pico can be kinda spicy, but we’ve never had it that spicy before. Hers meal came with a “side” of chips and slasa. The salsa came in a 1 oz condiment cup as well. Thats just laughable! The price in no way matches what you get! The server was good enough at least.

The portions suck. They rip you offin price, but no food. The sal.in was a taste, the salsa was enough for 2 chips, and the coleslaw was a couple tablespoons.
