This is the BEST place to get tacos in Louisville! Nobody can beat the quality of their meat, and they order it fresh daily. It’s immediately apparent, and it makes a huge difference. The amount of meat on the taco is also much higher than at the other places I’ve been. The meat is always cooked perfectly. I think most people’s reaction is that $6.50 for a taco is high, but once you try these, you’ll see why immediately.
The manager, Naim, is a great guy. Every time we go, he checks in with each table and asks how everything came out. He’s an interesting guy to get to know as well. Be sure to chat with him!
The majority of the seating is outside. They have a nice water system that sprays mist throughout the outdoor dining area, making dining outside in the hottest weather a pleasant experience.

I’ve been trying to get to this place for a couple of years now as we only get to Louisville once or twice a year. This year I didn’t ask the family where they wanted to go for lunch or what they wanted to eat, I told them where we were going.
Damn glad I did!
The wife already discussed her meal so I’m just going to call out the fantastic torta I had. I’m a pretty big fan of the torta in most forms. This one came across as a little less authentic than what I eat in Mexico but the changes truly were enhancements. It was one fine sandwich!

The location was clean, beautifully designed and colorful. The staff was kind, and I was served very quickly for my carry out order.
The tinga tacos were okay. They were packed with tons of the “right stuff” but unless I doused them in sauce it just wasn’t jumping out at me. For what I paid for each item, I was underwhelmed. Good for a date night but not the home run I was hoping it would be given the splendor of the decor.
The queso and chips were very yummy, however. I wanna check out their take on guacamole next time.

I went back for some Quesabirria today and I was floored. The flavor was extremely excellent, somewhat original and one of the best versions of this Taco I’ve ever had. Please give this a shot if you’re a Quesabirra fan.

Every time I come here I’m blown away. The classic torta (sandwich) with carnitas exceeded expectations. The carnitas were perfectly cooked/seasoned with fried cheese, jalapeños and beans. My family had the tacos: Al pastor, fish and tinga and they raved about all of them. The sauces are on point and the vibe is . Taco Luchador for the win!

We have always walked by going to get ice cream. We finally tried it, it is very good! It is about $20/$25 a person depending on what you get. Counter style ordering with option to tip. They’ll bring it to your table. Really good tacos, and good margarita. Bowl had a bit too much going on. My boyfriend said it was good. For me, it doesn’t stay on the traditional side for al pastor. Had like pickled jalepenos, and pickled cabbage on it.

The cashier was abrupt, you bus your own table and get your own drinks hence the service rating. The food is pretty good, the main problem here is the price, over $6 for a single taco is madness. There is no michelin star here just a money grab.

Great outdoor atmosphere, especially on a toasty summer day! They have cool water misters throughout the front patio area, which makes for a quite unique and welcome touch. Prices are slightly hefty, but the tacos were reasonably sized and splendid, especially with the free sauces.

Obsessed with Taco Luchador! The service was impeccable! The GM made sure we liked everything amd if we need anything extra. The patio is great year round. We passed thru but will definitely be back to try more food. This salad does not do justice! It was stacked tall and the flavors were unique and divine! I want to recreate the cilantro lime vinaigrette.
