We thought the service was a little slow, but when got to the window we could see that there was just one young man working. Hopefully no one complained about the wait time. If anyone deserved a raise and a big pat on the back this young man did. We were proud of his keeping things going and his boss should be too!

We waited about 45 minutes until I went to check and finally realized it was closed which bumbed me out but we had about 10 other cars that waited also. A closed sign would have been awesome. It is usually really good when we eat there.

I went through too order food for my nieces and i. i wasn’t done ordering and the “manager” cut me off and gave me my total. i told her i wasn’t done ordering and she told me too pull up too the window. she then told me she deleted my order. all because i told her i wasn’t done ordering. she told me she was gonna call the cops. because I WASNT done ordering. rude customer service. worst service ever!

Drive thru was quite slow. They were also out of their cold brew. So I ordered mountain dew. When I got to the widow. I was informed they were out of mountain dew. Not terrible things. But definitely not convenient.

Ordered to go. Extra tomatoes, easy on cheese sauce. Could barely “find” the tomatoes. The fountain pol was terrible. I ended up dumping it when I got to camper. Absolutely terrible. And I’m a fan of fountain Pepsi. So I suggest staff check beverages before starting the day.

Very disappointed with our visit here! We have eaten at Taco Johns for over 40 years. We ordered 2 chicken bowls, 2 soft shells and 2 diet Pepsi’s. Total was over $22. They have become way overpriced for what you get. We have had similar bowls at Taco Bell and they are much bigger for the same money! We also got down the road and realized they had not included any utensils to eat the bowls with. After eating at Toco Johns for over 40 years I think we won’t be going back. Lot more for your money else where!!

I’ve been to the Holdrege location twice and have had subpar food on both occasions. The first time I was told be careful the ole’s are hot. Not hot, but very overcooked! Too hard to eat. Tonight, I ordered chipotle lime fried chicken tacos and got jalapeño. Probably won’t be back, sad because I love taco johns.

Seat in drive thru for a good 3-5 minutes. Sign said open and hours said open no one was there. So we called and asked if open they said yes, and answered drive thru. Getting our food took for ever and it was warm not hot.

Do not bother coming here after 7pm. The night staff are miserable babies who will “greet” you very unwelcomingly, then curse from inside with the window open. Happens all the time. Then they’ll do things like sigh heavily when you hand them payment. If you’re lucky then your food won’t be reheated complete garbage. I once had a potato ole where the oles were literally wet, and there was a good centimeter of dryer oil at the bottom of the cup. Great stuff.

Went thru the drive thru at 2pm, one car in the parking lot and had to wait quite a while to even get service. Ordered a #1, taco shells were old, potato oles were cold, im not sure the guacamole was any good and the wrappers had sour cream all over them. I dont typically gripe but this was ridiculous… never again
