Taco John’s in Poplar Bluff just got my business for life! Our family is gluten free and they were able to make their breakfast tacos with corn tortillas for us. So many businesses will throw their hands up but not John or the manager, Kaniyrah. They went above and beyond!!!

My family and I came in for lunch, we were greeted by the cashier ( JOHN ). He was so professional, very nice and helpful , stayed busy . There should be more like him.

Second time we ordered tacos only for the meat to be ice cold. We told them the meat was cold and the girl at the window took the bag and sone other girl came back with an attitude saying the meat was not cold it was just the lettuce. I understand lettuce can drop the temperature but not that much. She said she would put the lettuce on the side and guess what, the meat was still lukewarm at best.

I’ve are here several times, and just like the other locations I’ve been too the service was great, place was clean and the good was good! Straight forward simple tacos that taste good, and are consistently always good. Tried the fried chicken taco with jalapeno ranch, has a good kick, I liked it. And who can resist the potato rounds?! Gotta have the cheese sauce to dip them in too!

Great food and excellent, fast service. One thing I really like about this place is the service. Most fast food places couldn’t care less about the customer and their employees show it. Taco John’s must treat their employees really well because they all act like owners.

Eating here gave me nostalgia. I hale from the city that Taco Johns is headquartered and always loved grabbing some soft shell tacos and some potato olés with nacho cheese when I lived there. I was skeptical at first with this location being so far away from HQ (and me being spoiled by growing up with the flagship restaurants), but the Taco Johns in Poplar Bluff tastes just as great as the ones back West. Stop in and grab a bite! You won’t be disappointed!
