I usually go to Taco John’s for breakfast on the weekends. This location is always prompt and has freshly made potato ole’s/made to order burritos that are typically delicious. Drive-thru people are great at taking the orders even when I’m not being great on explaining. if you like Mexican fast food, you’ll like this spot.

My daughter was having a bad day and as a little comfort thing we had a late night dinner trip. We ordered 3 meals, 2 churros and an extra burrito at 8:53. Got home and my daughter realized her burrito wasn’t in there causing her to cry even more. We got back in the car and drove back across town to get her food because obviously she’s hungry and still wants her food. We arrived back at the store about 25 minutes to close and they tell us that the grill is shut down so they can’t make it. Come back tomorrow. Ok sir…she’s hungry now, it’s already been paid for and I’m leaving town tomorrow. No apology just”oh”. Had to go to Taco Bell for her instead. If you mess up…make it right.

I visited taco John’s Missoula today. I was blown away that it cost me $37 for me and my two daughters but inflation so ok…whatever. But when I saw what I was given I was angry. The potatoes were half full. The chicken in my burrito was so over cooked it was not edible . There was no potatoes in my meant and potato burrito and there was a hard price of what I’m assuming what something in the bag of lettuce that went bad? The sour cream that I paid extra for was rotten. I spent $40 on fast food just to throw it all in the trash. I feel sick just from what I ate. I will never be back.

I went to order a combo meal and an extra potatoes. I asked for green sauce and extra nacho cheese. I paid for my items and got them and then left. Once I got home and looked at my order I realized that the have given me the completely wrong order. I drove back to get the correct order that I paid for. Once I got into the lobby 4 workers were just standing around by the drive-thru window and one person was eating food from a bag that looks like that had gotten left behind. After a couple of minutes one of the girls finally came up and asked what I needed. I told her I was just there and that they had forgotten some items that I paid for and would like to get them. She looked at me like I was stupid. As I’m explaining to her was was left out the workers in the back were laughing and taking out the potatoes since the kid was eating them from the bag. She went to them to let them know what was going on and they were all still laughing at the fact that they had gotten orders wrong. She came back up and said “ thankfully it looks like the order was already bagged” I was baffled by the whole situation because they thought someone was going to come back for over half their order. Once I got home again we found out that everyone in the bag was the correct order but the burrito was inedible due to the fact that it had already been sitting there for 15 mins on their counter after I had come the first time. I have never had good service here but this has really topped the cake this time. The staff was rude. We sent about 21.00 on something that we were only able to eat the potatoes out of. We didn’t even know that we were given the wrong burrito I till the second bag because they never said anything to us. So hopefully we don’t get sick from it sitting out.

I usually don’t post bad comments until it’s worth posting about, yesterday we went through the drive-thru everything was explained well until we got up to the window to pay. The young lady at the cashier was a Debby Downer the whole time, never said a word or have a good day and the kids making our food were wearing dirty pajamas. (Sad faces) The food was pretty bad too, the chicken tacos is Not a taco more like a salad. Too much lettuce!! A few bad pieces in there as well ( ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE EATING IT) I asked for a side of Queso and the container was smashed in like someone was mad putting the lid on… it was barely half full. Just all around disappointing!

I asked for double beef on my taco salad because the normal beef amount is like a teaspoon. This is what it looked like when I got home and I had to repeat myself 2 times through the speaker and 1 time through the window. Horrible customer service. They don’t care what you order or pay for that is not at all what you get.

I come here to get soul food. I purchased my food with the added extra pricing for the variation of the taco bar I I wanted. The driver through boy said there was no combo meal for the taco bravo. Very short with me as I then go to pay 25$ for two tacos, one being the meal I made him aware of. I ask for an extra nacho cheese cup, instead I get my plain taco bravo without the additions, an added potato ole cup instead of cheese and when I ask for hot sauce, he drops it down as multiple packets hit the ground outside. I then call to get ahold of the manager on duty, the kid stays on the line and says he is the manager. Would not state his name. Very awful. You can rarely come here and get what you ordered and always expect to be treated poorly. Every time I come here recently, very bad experiences. Should just shut down so better company can reopen.
