Stopped in today and ordered 3 soft shells with no lettuce. At the window to pay, I asked the person at the drive through window to CONFIRM the tacos would have no lettuce. I did this because I’ve driven home from there other times with mistakes on my order. She told me there would be no lettuce. I checked the receipt to make sure it was accurate. It was. Then after a 20 min drive home, I opened my tacos and they were FILLED with lettuce. I called to tell them. They did NOT offer me a refund. They said I could drive back there (another 20 min drive each way) and they would replace them, or I could go there at another time and they would replace them. I asked if they would offer me anything to make up for the waste of 40 minutes of my time to have to drive back there because of THEIR mistake. They refused. They don’t value their customers, obviously. I’m not wasting another 40 min to drive there and back to a place that doesn’t value my time or value me as a customer. This isn’t the first time. I’ll eat the loss of the tacos this time, and they’ve lost a customer.

This is really disappointing as this is normally my go to taco John’s location. Why is it when employees see “No” *food item* they immediately think to add, and crazy amount of it. My boss ordered me food through doordash and as you can see on the receipt, it says NO LETTUCE, NO TOMATOES, the first burrito escaped the tomato but had like extra lettuce, and the second it covered in both. Really? Do better, please.

Service has gone down at this location. It used to be my favorite. The workers don’t know how to substitute a crispy taco into the #2 two softshell taco meal. They told me it’s “impossible” to give me a crispy taco and a softshell taco in one meal. “I just talked to my manager and she said there is just NO WAY we can do that.”

The service was amazing. The people at the front counter were very friendly.
The only thing that threw me off a bit, was that I had to ask the front counter to unlock the bathroom. Otherwise, great service, and great food. Oles will always be great!

For many years my goto meal at Taco John’s has been the Super Burrito and Potato Oles. That will probably change after today. The Oles were as good as ever, but the Super Burrito I had today could hardly be called Super. It seemed like it was half the size it’s been in the past, with plenty of room left in the tortilla. I took it back to the counter and they confirmed that it was indeed a Super Burrito. The times they are a changing.

I will never go to this location again. They charge $7 for 1 burrito. They messed up the order, so we had to waste time and gas driving back. They offered no apology, acted like it was no big deal, and then tried to charge us for the replacement.
Save yourself the irritation and don’t go here.
