We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The owners son was very nice and apparently great at cooking gumbo and jumbolaya!! He was our server and really made our first experience enjoyable. They have a happy hour on the weekdays and weekends. The food options were attractive and delicious!! We tried a few different choices. I enjoyed everything, and loved my seafood boil, and jumbolaya. Everything was fresh and presentation was beautifully creative!! My family and I travel often for business and pleasure and I cant remember the last time I experienced seafood so well made in a local town. I usually have to travel to the harbor for great seafood. I was in the area for travel and was referred to this restaurant. Thank you to our waiter whom doubled as a host, a chef and a waiter. As a mother, I was very proud to have met a young person who cares about the quality of their food and their customers.

We dined here based on a friend’s recommendation and we were not disappointed. The flavor and portion sizes were great! We noticed that there were “regulars” dining. The waitress new their names and preferences- that in itself, made me want to come back.

I hate to leave this review because I was very excited for this seafood boil. If you do take out, it is not worth it. In restaurant prices are much cheaper. Not sure if boil is better. The mussels and shrimp were fine. The snow crab was sooo overcooked you could barely break the shell. I paid $3.50 extra for extra corn, potatoes and sausage. The corn with the add on was 1 extra small ear. It was ok. A little mushy. The extra included 1 small round potato in addition to the one potato it comes with and an extra 1 inch of sausage. I would not recommend. Total was over $40.

Such a great experience and wonderful, friendly waitress (I cant remember her name but she had locks). The seafood boil was top tier with some of the freshest seafood I’ve had in a LONG time!! Definitely will be back and definitely recommend a 10/10 for sure.

Very satisfying!!! This is the place where you want to be if you love seafood. You can order individual type of seafood by weight at a market price, or you can choose from the Preset Buckets. Deep in the Ocean was one of the choices. There were six of us, we end up ordered five Deep in the Ocean with 1/2 lb. Dungeness Crab, 1/2 lb. Snow Crab, 1/2 lb. Shrimp, and 1/2 lb. Mussels. We each chose our own seasoning and the spiciness. The seafood was boiled in a bag with your choice of seasoning and complimentary corn, pork sausage, and baby red potato pieces. My mom and I shared a bag and we still had five pieces of shrimps left. However my husband finished everything in his bag and was very stuffed. I loved the mussels and thought the shrimp tasted rubbery and didn’t like the fact that the shrimp poop was not cleaned out before cooking. The seafood was very fresh and season was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant. Please note that service fee will be added to the bill automatically for table of five or more. After tax and tip, the bill was $200+. Not a cheap meal for sure.

Seems like a Mom and Pop run place. Pretty average prices for their type of seafood. Our waiter was nice, but a little scatterbrained. Forgot our hush puppy order, that he blamed on take out orders, did bring us some near the end of our meal. Kept forgetting to bring us a water, when we asked as well, but just a couple of minor things. Thought the food was cooked pretty good, all was pretty tasty. We got some boils with their homemade seasoning. Been twice and always seems to be a wait, so be prepared.

This is such a vibe….. our waitress was super friendly and super attentive! The food was amazing the drinks definitely were strong, I thought the atmosphere was just so welcome and! My fiance and I are of the lgbtq+ community and we definitely did not feel uncomfortable. We also saw quite a few like-minded people and the facility. The music was great it was just a very nice cool place to just have dinner and relaxing so welcomed! So I’ll definitely be going back there!

The service was slow. There was only one waitress. Food was ok. The fried oysters were bland . Taste like they came straight from the ocean to the grease. I had Coops Combo which was well seasoned, just something about them shrimp made me not eat them. House of love was good.

We ordered 2lb clams and 2lb shrimps, but only get 1lb clam and 1lb shrimp. They did not want to do anything to correct their mistake. The manager insisted they did nothing wrong even thought we ate some, which makes me feel really sick.
