We moved to Minnesota not too long ago and I had never heard of Taco John’s. I was a bit worried about what mid-westerners consider Mexican food, but was pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind that this is a fast food chain, not some abuelita lovingly hand making the food in a kitchen of a tiny house converted into a taqueria…. Temper your expectations and you’ll enjoy the food well enough. It’s a low bar but it’s far better than the ring-a-ding place. And you can get a full meal with drink for $5. Can’t beat that.
This particular location looked relatively new, at least on the outside. I placed an order through the app and picked it up in the drive through. The person working the window was friendly. I think they may have been the only one working. Lucky for them there were no other customers there…. Parking lot was completely empty. I got my food quickly and it was fresh and hot. We had a semi-complicated order with several modifications and add-ons. Everything was exactly as we ordered it. Kudos for that!
The app kinda sucks as it’s more difficult to navigate than it needs to be. Plus, I need to be able to add onions to stuff!

The two staff working were friendly, attentive, and efficient. We dined in and the dining room was clean. The food selection and pricing was good. I wish the soft tortillas for my wraps had been warmed, but other than that, we were happy. We live in Duluth and hadn’t been to this location in years. My husband even said he was pleasently surprised. Great job!

Stopped here on our way back to the twin cities and couldn’t have had a more positive experience. Everyone who was working was so insanely friendly. I only get taco John’s when I visit MN so a lame visit is never fun.
Our food was hot and delicious. I’d say I can’t wait to come back but it’ll be some time. This location was very clean and well kept.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was yummy and the name tells it. Food-fusion Spicy perfect tacos, burritos with hash brown rounds (extra yum) several taco specials. I don’t live here but will return at least one more time.

It was a great time.. Situated on London Rd, just west of 21st Ave. As soon as we entered, a man greeted us in a very joyous voice. He was very helpful when asking questions and NEVER intimidating. My daughter ordered Super Potato Oles combo. I ordered a Super Nachos with a drink. My husband ordered Chicken – Meat and potato Burrito combo. We all enjoyed our meals! Great service and delicious meals.

Just came back from a funeral and completely broke so wanted the $1 taco deal. Cool. Immediately greeted with AI who got my order wrong twice so I came back around and was already in tears at this point. I’m then connected to an employee who immediately started speaking to me extremely rudely through the drive through, extremely disrespectfully with an attitude. They were extremely short, and then completely cut themselves off from the intercom after I tried to ask a follow up question about the product. I was trying to order tacos from the BANNER THAT IS OUTSIDE the restaurant. They cut me off immediately. I’m hungry, haven’t eaten in two days, and tired. this is my last straw here. I have and still do work in fast food and this behavior is absolutely unacceptable and abnormal. I get that your job is difficult but so is all of our lives. I hope no one else has to experience this.
