Easy to order, I used a really nice freebie reward, the cashiers and cooks are all super nice! Then I ordered my second order on the app. My 1st time, and didn’t realize I had to check in on the app AND at the counter. Enjoy all my photos!

We ordered takeout – 2 taco salads, some soft shell taco and a couple burritos. All 4 of us got food poisoning. The two of us who go the salads, came down with it that night. The two guys who has the tacos & burritos were affected the next day. I believe it was the lettuce that was contaminated. It was not a flue as there were other people who were around us the weekend. I used to love Taco Johns, always choose it over taco bell. It’s become very disappointing place.

Good atmosphere and service but doesn’t make up for the bad food. Got the $7 burrito bundle. Both burritos were watery. It just didn’t feel “authentic” or like a good ethnic meal unfortunately. I understand its americanized like Taco Bell but it was very off putting. The best part of the meal was the tater tots. Wouldn’t consider the meal again. Sorry. Taco Bell is the way?

Came in for taco Tues. The potato oles were good. It was moderately busy with plenty of places to sit and eat. The lobby was clean.
The service was attentive. No complaints.
A genuinely nice alternative to Taco Bell.

Stopped at Taco John’s recently. Staff was friendly and the store was fairly clean (I’d give it a C- for cleanliness).
I ordered what ended up being a combo — two tacos, potato cakes, and a drink. The total came to $12. For comparison, at Taco Bell the same two tacos would’ve run me about $3 total, and a combo like that should reasonably fall in the $5–6 range.
I get that pricing is different from place to place, but when soft drinks cost pennies to pour, charging $12 for such a basic meal feels astronomical. Maybe I misunderstood the menu or pricing, but if not, someone really needs to explain why tacos are running $5 each here.
The staff themselves were nice, but bottom line: the food isn’t any different than Taco Bell, and the pricing makes it hard to justify a return visit.

The two people working there, Austin and Z.I. are stellar and they helped me custom order something I could eat since I can’t have dairy.
I read online that your beans had dairy in them but Z.I. showed me the beans were legit and Austin helped me order an awesome custom meal. They even brought it out to me and served me sauce and great service!

WORST SERVICE AND MANAGER I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO ENCOUNTER!!!
Refuses to actually HIRE PEOPLE so it takes a half hour to get your food at a – read: FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!!! Then, when I kindly asked if he could just refund my order because my Uber was seconds from driving away, he tells me “no refunds for tacos!!!”
Yet they had yet to even MAKE the tacos!!!
Ended up throwing the bag at my face with ZERO sauces in it whatsoever, and I had to pay for another whole Uber.
THEY ARE NOT THE SAME OWNERS AS THE ONES WE HAVE ALL KNOWN AND LOVED FOR DECADES, SADLY!
Do not go here!!
