The people that work there mostly youngsters are very kind they’re always ready to joke around with a good sense of humor they always say thank you and come back you hardly ever hear that anymore most of the time at drive-thrus they never even say a word to you they just hand you your things and look at you like what are you waiting for. Let me start by stating that I have loved Taco Delite my entire life. I was a Plano kid in the 90’s and ate at the East Plano location at least twice a week. After last night’s experience, however, I may never be able to stomach Taco Delite ever again. I didn’t take my order back to the Wylie restaurant or call and complain because I had eaten over half of my meal before THE bite. I had ordered the Super Salad. It was crazy yummy as usual until I got a mouthful of expired sour cream. I understand this can happen, unfortunately even in a newer container of sour cream, but this has destroyed my lifelong love and trust of this epic Mexican fast food “chain”. If you have ever tasted bad sour cream, you know it is an experience your pallet will not soon forget/forgive. I threw away the untouched meat burrito I planned on reheating for lunch this afternoon, even though it doesn’t contain sour cream, simply out of disgust. The drive-thru service and fresh salsa were excellent per usual.

They have decent bean burritos, which is all I’ve had there, and at a decent price. Comparable burritos at taco casa are 50 to 60 cents more each. Service is friendly. My only complaint is the guy who thought it was ok to be cleaning and sweeping right around my table while I was trying to enjoy a quiet meal.

This is a million times better than all the drive thru in the area. The staff is always polite and kind! Such a rarity in our current society. The prices are fantastic! I can always not worry about my kids ordering something too expensive.
