I personally feel that the place is great.
The food is just such a better quality for the cash, when talking about Latin American comido action. They have both Taco Tues/Thurs $2.99.
I like the place because it is very clean, the staff are some of the most consistently best, and the most friendly people one could imagine.
Yudiro, the manger who is by far not being paid enough, is the type of person that you get to meet every now and then in life. Just good people.
THE PLACE IS GREAT!
Not just because of the known tasty-tastiness of their so fresh and beautiful tacos and other dishes, but the unique and fresh way the Taco Masters create prettiness and flavour, in the food we try to control ourselves too slowly eat.

Absolutely delicious meal. We got tacos, the wet burrito, and the elote. All were top notch. The tacos were stuffed full, not skimping out on anything there, and the wet burrito was also really large. We were pleasantly surprised and happy with the portions for the prices. Good service, clean restaurant. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Our weekly Taco Tuesday adventures wouldn’t be the same without it. The tacos are always fresh and flavorful, and the margaritas? Absolutely top-notch! My wife and I decided to go to Taco City Hikes Point because we pass by it every time I bring her to bingo. As usual I read reviews before I go to any new restaurant. The reviews here have the same mix of good and bad and we found nothing that deterred us from going. When we arrived we sat outside while finishing a phone call. We were happy to see an employee came out to the patio and checked the trash and to make sure it was clean. When we went in, the place was very clean, music was not loud or over bearing and atmosphere was really nice. We went to the counter to order and dispite me looking at the menu online I still had no idea what to get and yes my wife is used to me doing this :). The employee at the counter was very patient and understanding. While I perused the menu my wife ordered the nachos with steak and I decided on the Wet Burrito (both pictured below). Yes we went to Taco City and neither of us tried the tacos. Maybe next time. Less than 5 minutes after sitting, our food arrived at the table. Both meals were nice and warm and looked really good. My wife was in heaven with the nachos and I have to say the burrito was fantastic. The steak on the nachos was seasoned perfectly and so tender and the chicken in the buritto was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The prices on the menu were exactly as we would expect for this type of place. We will return to try more options.

Taco City in Hikes Point is one of our few ‘go to’ places. It’s clean, tasty, and always great service. The taco selection is great and margaritas are a bonus. At the end of a long day or week, we look forward to seeing Stefania and Yudiro’s smiling faces 🙂

I was craving Mexican food and got on Google maps tonight for the nearest location and it pointed me in the right direction. Taco City definitely did not disappoint. I walked in and found counter service and looked towards the back and noticed there was a bar so I took a seat and found Estefania ready to take our order. She was very attentive and made our evening quite pleasant. The mojito she made was easily the best in the city at a bargain price of five dollars. We had appetizers and split a burrito because it was huge. I’m thrilled that I found this place. Great parking, great menu, great service. I’ll definitely be back.
