Let me say it has been a LONG time since I’ve been able to have Taco Casa, and this location did not disappoint! Got super burrito and a taco. Man oh man was it better than i remembered! A very important side note, I worked food service for over a decade and have to comment on kitchen and restaurant cleanliness. The place as super busy, and EXTREMELY CLEAN! I won’t eat if the kitchen isn’t clean. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and made the atmosphere very comfortable. This location is phenomenal.

First off I wanted to say this is the first time I heard the story of Taco Bell and Taco Casa, saw it on the a pod cast Joe Rogan, so I saw you had a location kinda by me a county over I live in Buda, So I dragged my wife out and the whole time on the way to Hutto I was remembering the GOOD flavors of the old Taco Bell, I had the Combo burrito and Chilada, I remember it as the Enchirito, besides that very delicious, I gave it 5 stars, the only complaint was the beans had a little bit too much salt. Someone had a heavy hand on the fresh beans, other than that delicious, please bring a location to Buda/Kyle area.

Despite the Texas freeze, my family of five still made the drive from Austin because we truly love Casa Taco Casa. Unfortunately, tonight’s visit didn’t match the quality we’re used to.
We arrived at 8:15 p.m. The floors were being cleaned, and the employee at the front immediately said, “We close at 9, y’all sure you want to eat here?” I reminded him it was only 8:15, and he said we were “good,” so we placed our order.
He then asked Ms. Grace to give us courtesy drinks. She responded that those were only for kids. He pointed out that we do have kids and implied the courtesy was also because of how we were initially spoken to. She still refused, gave us an extremely rude look, and when I asked for her name for a review, she rolled her eyes and walked away.
We still love the tacos, but experiences like this make it hard to justify spending our hard‑earned money and driving all the way from Austin. I hope the staff can be more considerate in the future.

That interaction is what left a negative impression—not Johnathan’s comment.
I hope this feedback helps redirect attention to where it’s needed. We truly love your food and have driven from Austin many times, even during a freeze, because we believe in supporting businesses we care about. I just ask that all staff reflect the same respect that Johnathan showed us.

This is NOT mexican cuisine. It is not fine dining, and the ambiance is NOT raised pinky or pretentious. But, if you are in the mood for nachos or tacos or a burrito this is the place to go. Food is hot, ingredients are fresh and the portions are decent. There is no magic here but it is just darn good.
The staff is friendly and courteous, and the prices are very good.
The dining room and restrooms have been very clean when we have visited.
For the most part everything is seasoned ground beef, but very good. The beans have always tasted great and may even be house made. We like to order the nachos, meat, beans, chips, jalapeños, sour cream and navho cheese sauce. Pro tip here, pass on the cheese sauce and have them add shredded cheese instead, the chips will not become soggy. Either way the food is good and service is always been friendly .
Special note, make sure you try their house branded taco sauce, very good.

I remember when this establishment first opened, I was so stoked! Then slowly but surely this eatery joined the rest of them, serving mediocre meals and total disappointment. Lately, if it’s not poor customer service, it’s cold AND stale food. Do you really have to ask for fresh and hot food through the drive through these days? If management is reading this and your sales are low, there’s a legitimate reason why. It takes me 30 minutes to get home, and in that time, my cheese didn’t even melt. That should tell ya something. It’s still a better value than Taco Bell but the quality is a true hit or miss now. SADLY

I’ve been twice in two days after discovering this. I love it, it’s great. Reminiscent of Taco Bell of the 80’s, this place is amazing. The menu is wonderfully simple and the quality of the food is consistent and terrific. Restaurant is spotless and the staff, unlike Taco Bell, is professional. This is my new go to for Mexican fast food. 100% recommend, and thank you for a wonderful experience!

Friendly staff and the tacos taste really delicious, you can actually taste real beef flavor as well as the texture. The taco shells are super crunchy not soggy, greasy and breaking apart like Taco bells. Actually put quite a bit of cheese on your Taco which is lovely unlike Taco Bell where they give you a pinch of cheese and charge you extra when you request for them to add extra cheese to normal portion. Completely stress free odering since they got everything right the first time with nothing missing and plenty of everything. I strongly recommend this place to everybody, you wont regret it!
