I don’t want to give a low star review because I love taco casa and will continue going there, but for almost $10 can I not get more than a splash of beans and meat? Every time I go it gets less and less… and they forgot my peppers… sigh… food service industry has really lacked in this town.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was very polite and made you feel at home. Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Where I live there are no Taco Casas, but I heard that they are similar to what Taco Bell was forty years ago. Food was awesome. Fresher and higher quality than Taco Bell, and constructed with care. Not haphazzardly thrown together. Tacos and burritos were brimming with ingredients.
Hey- it’s fast food, but it’s fast food done right.

This place reminds me of the original Taco Bell. It was so tasty and nostalgic. I ordered the Taco Lite and something similar to an enchirito (from back in the day). They even had the black olives. I was so impressed. We went back to back and I had to call my mom. She was excited to hear about the menu being just like the OG Taco Bell menu and she hadn’t even tasted it. I definitely give it 5 stars. In fact, I wish I had to Taco Lites right now!

Food good customer service was good. Imagine going to Taco Bell in the late and early 1990s. Those are your expectations. That’s what you should expect from this restaurant not authentic Mexican food.

Taco Casa is always the choice. IRA or 401K… Taco Casa. Comedy or Thriller… Taco Casa. Chevy or Ford… Taco Casa. Cereal or Pop Tart.. Taco Casa. Pizza or Burgers… Taco Casa. 1st Class or Economy… Taco Casa. Sweet Tea or Unsweet Tea.. come on… ALWAYS sweet tea… from Taco Casa.

Drive thru experience was crazy. Kept being asked to repeat the order again like they weren’t paying attention. Ordered a family size order due to us having a long day and not wanting to cook. After ordering drink with our food order asked for 2 courtesy sweet teas for the kiddos food. But when I got to drive thru I was asked if I had the kids present in order to receive the courtesy drinks. Why do my little ones have to be present in order to get the courtesy drinks after purchasing 4 large drinks and sign saying free courtesy drink with purchase of regular drink. Once we got home noticed the super nachos was not even full like they were rationing. Crazy..maybe just a bad day that day for the staff.

I unfairly judged Taco Casa in Kerrville Tx until a Contractor took me there as a guest. In the blur of modern times I assumed it was just another restaurant. What I discovered was that it offered fast efficient friendly service at breakneck speed and a great meal of yesteryear proportions a senior drink is complementary. All this greatness for low cost or for those on a tight budget. Win win in my book. I’m a regular fan now.

Ok I haven’t been to a chain taco place in years.
I read it was the old taco bell recipes and healthier.
The bean burrito brought back memories of 25 cent bean burrito in the late 60s, at $2.50 ish it was still inexpensive.
The loaded burrito had good flavor and hit the spot.
It was late not a lot of options and it was fast and I was back on the road in a flash.

I have been coming here for more than 17 years at this point and it has always been fantastic. Its cheap, its good, and its quick. Truly a great place and a great company. You’d be hard pressed to find a place where 2 people can eat for less than $20, fortunately Taco Casa knows it’s crowd. There’s a very nice older lady who works at this specific location who is as sweet as can be, she always has a smile and makes sure you’re taken care of. Overall, you cannot go wrong with either of the Taco Casa locations in Kerrville.

Taco Casa is what what Taco Bell wishes they still were! If you know their history, Taco Casa is keeping it real to 80’s style Taco Bell, but even better! I don’t mind paying a little more than Taco Bell for a FAR superior product. One Taco Casa taco = two Taco Bell tacos, but Taco Casa tastes way better! No skimping on meat or cheese. No need to add extra like at Taco Bell, even if Taco Bell equalled the meat and cheese, it tastes inferior anyway. Plus, they have Taco Salad better than what Taco Bell offered! Taco Casa is amazing for fast food tacos, which is a different category than Tex-Mex or authentic Mexican Food.
