I travel alot and I usually don’t leave reviews but this one I really couldn’t resist. The service and attentiveness AND patience the owner and his employee gave me was really kind. He helped me through my choice and I must say the tacos were soooo good! The Asada melted in my mouth and the Pico was easily the freshest I have ever had (with a bit of a kick!) I come to San Antonio quarterly so now I have to put this place on my special stops list! Thank you again for your kindness and amazing meal.

The place was alright, I feel like it was lost it’s culture it didn’t really feel authentic especially when their version of a quesadilla is a taco that looks like any other taco but with cheese and is the same size as another taco you would pay 6.99 for. I paid 12.99 for a tiny quesadilla don’t get the quesadillas they are literally just the tacos but surcharge 2x the amount of a normal taco for cheese. NOT TO MENTION they messed up our order and left out the 12.99 quesadilla and didnt even give us the right tacos. It feels like a “bougie” taco place and the prices are just something most San Antonio WOULD NOT pay for. If you are willing to spend 6.99(7.00!!!) for 1-2 tacos that’s quite insane. Additionally I notice a couple reviews looked paid as multiple posts had the SAME EXACT picture and the two weren’t anywhere near the same person or related to the other reviewer. I don’t even want to think about this place. I left feeling horrible when our order was wrong. You’re better off going to the places next door. Especially for the prices. Not to mention the amount of time it took to get our order. The service was pretty mid the cashier didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing because he kept constantly changing the order on the till while we were adding on but keep in mind he removed my item. We didn’t ask to remove any products but the guy reset the receipt for what we were getting. Not really his fault I understand some places have bad management and training. They also seem to use the same meat that they cooked from that morning and just reheat it on the grill.

We were greeted upon entering the Taqueria by Jesse. It is very clean inside and we were able to find the menu quickly on the right side wall as well as at the counter. I chose the Pastor combo and the total came out to $8.99
This combo was absolutely delicious. My wife got the asada combo on corn flour for $12.99
I didn’t get a picture of my food because it just was that good. I added a picture of my wife’s.
This was our first time here but it definitely will not be our last.

Taco Capital absolutely delivered. The carne asada was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful, honestly some of the best I’ve had. And the chips… wow. They were crispy, fresh, and somehow tasted like fritos (in the best way), which made them impossible to stop eating. The salsas were so, so delicious and paired perfectly with everything. I also have to mention the agua fresca… it was really delicious and so refreshing.
On top of that, the customer service was excellent! Friendly, helpful, and fast. The restaurant was clean, and set up simply for efficiency, which I loved. It’s perfect if you want to grab and go tacos without sacrificing quality. Taco Capital is the kind of place that makes you want to bring friends back with you. Highly recommend!

This food is quality and authentic. The prices are worth what you pay. Not necessarily expensive. There are very many varies of foods for every texture of everyone’s tongue. The service is top notch. Highly attentive. Not only do they make sure you purchase what is suitable for a person, but also makes sure what you ordered is to your liking to their best ability. My first time here and I am remarkably impressed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone needing a great meal. . .for a great price.
