Support small local businesses! I had the spicy beef soup it was delicious, excellent broth. The produce (cilantro, beans sprouts, mint, and limes) was very fresh and clean. I was very pleased with our food. The 5 spice chicken was flavorful served with rice, a fried egg, a salad, and your choice of soup! I forgot to take a picture of the 5 spice chicken lol I couldn’t help myself. See the photos! I always say try things that you’ve never had before, be adventurous your taste buds will thank you!

Strange interior deco, color and light!
It seems like they painted the dirty white over with a color that does not shows if it accumulated dust!!!
I ordered Pho, the bowl was not deep enough for the broth and they stuffed the bowl with a lot of… I meant very big portion!
And again … there is not as much flavor but there is that sweetness in the broth!
I am sure it is NOT MSG, but can’t tell if came from bones or that high density glucose from Corn!

Nice clean restaurant, good food!
We eat at a lot of small mom and pop owned restaurants and what usually stands out at many is the cleanliness (or lack of) of the restaurant. It was quite noticeable that the owners here keep things clean and orderly.
I am no Vietnamese food expert. What I try to do is order the same meal at every restaurant, so I can compare what I have eaten and like.
For me it is Bun Bo Hue, for my wife it is the vermicelli eggroll salad with chicken. And the appetizer of choice is the spring roll.
The spring rolls were large and average in taste. The chicken on the vermicelli was excellent. It had a little char on the chicken meat which really made the meal. The fish sauce dressing was not over powering with fish flavor. The broth of the Bun Bo Hue was a little bland for my liking. It was lacking both in beef flavor and spice (heat and lemon grass flavor). It took a hearty dosing of Sriracha sauce and soy sauce to bring it to life. They don’t serve fresh Jalapenos with the side vegetables, but they will provide them on request. The good thing about the Bun Bo Hue was that it was not sweet, It was not overpowered by the flavor of fish sauce and there was a generous portion of thin cut lean tender beef.

Totally exceeded my expectations for a vermicelli bowl. Very fresh and homemade style ingredients, the pork is ideal for Vietnamese fair and this is what I seek out when eating such cuisine. Definitely gentle care taken in the kitchen for tonight’s meal and so appreciative to be enjoying it right now! my boyfriend has thoroughly enjoyed even just the broth in his spicy beef soup as we continue to graze. 10 out of 10!

The Bun Bo Hue was tasty, with strong lemongrass and sate chili that made it stand out. The Pho had a sweeter broth and was light on aromatics but still enjoyable. There were no jalapeños for garnish, and I wished they had added more tripe to the Pho. The Com Suon had a sweet, teriyaki-like flavor for the pork. The dishes arrived warm rather than steaming hot. We also learned that the waitress is Burmese, which might explain the unique flavors in the Vietnamese dishes.

I ordered the sliced beef pho, my only complaint was there was no jalapeno, I love fresh jalapeno in mine. Broth was great, nice and got. Three bed was perfect, thinly sliced and tender. My server was perfect as well. You are given shrimp chips before your meal, no idea what that is exactly but they are very good, melt in your mouth.

My wife ordered the tuna salad and it was terrible. There was only 4 people in the restaurant and the service was poor. I informed the waitress that the tuna tasted terrible, strong fishy flavor and she just sat there and looked at me and took the dishes away. She never said anything. Then I told her again and she said nothing and so then I went up which looked like the manager and told her that the tuna was terrible and I know what tuna is supposed to taste like because I live in Costa Rica and fish for tuna.
I’m sure the other dishes are OK but don’t order the tuna

if i had to choose one place to eat at before i died, i would choose this restaurant. if i wanted to end it all and didnt think life was worth living, i would come here to remind myself it is worth it. ive been coming to this place since i was a child and its still the best restaurant ever (despite not having all the same foods) actually have no idea what they are putting in this food to make it so damn bomb. food SHOULD NOT be this good, actually dangerous for me, my figure, and my wallet. no matter what you order, it will be good. my personal favorites are the beef pho, brisket pho, fried rice(any kind), lo mein(any kind), that one steak dish, their egg rolls, and thai tea. if this place ever closes im driving off a bridge.
