Taco Bueno

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5)

Taco Bueno was a bit of a mixed bag ‍♂️ , but there were definitely some highlights! ✨

Cheesecake Chimichanga with raspberry sauce — ABSOLUTE standout
Crispy on the outside, sweet and creamy on the inside . Honestly, this dessert alone almost bumps the score up!

Wholotta® Platter — my wife and I both ordered one ‍❤️‍ .
The enchilada and taco were solid , but the Muchaco… eh . Definitely the weak link on the plate.

B.O.B (Big Ol’ Burrito) — just okay .
Pretty dry overall and REALLY needs a lot more sour cream ❌ to bring it all together.

Bonus point! The tacos didn’t get soggy like they often do at Taco Bell — that was a nice surprise!

✨ Final Thoughts:
Some good items ✅, some misses ❌. Decent meal overall, but nothing that totally blew us away.

⭐️ 3 stars — solid, but not standout

Felix in the drive thru lane absolutely made our day. After a long Friday, he cheered us up with his fun jokes and positive energy. We not only left with a smile on our face but he is such a radiant boost of positivity that it rubs off on you. Can’t wait to come back to just see our new friend, give that man a raise!

By far the worse bueno I’ve ever been to. I’ve given this place a chance several times. Got charged twice and manager said my transaction would be refunded and it never did. Got queso tonight and it’s ice cold. Like it was pulled out of a fridge. Can’t even keep the queso warm. I will never go back to this bueno and I live 5 minutes away. I love bueno so this really sucks.

Idk why I keep giving them a chance. I love other taco buenos. I waited for ten minutes for someone to take my order. They said “give me one second” on the speaker box and then I sat there for ten minutes waiting, there was one person in front of me and they were waiting at the window. Should’ve left then because when I got home my tacos were literally embarrassing. I had to put all of my taco fillings inside of one taco shell to even get a decent okay taco. If you’re going to lessen the amount of stuff you put in the tacos and charge the same amount, maybe change the taco shells. Food is always cold somehow and flavorless. It doesn’t seem like anyone cares either because this place has a 2.7 in reviews.

Went there today and the food was terrible. Ordered a beef nachos, a chicken nachos, and two soft beef tacos. The beef nachos had no beef on them, it was all refried beans, my husbands chicken nachos had 4 small pieces of chicken, and the beef soft tacos didn’t even have a spoon full of beef on them. It was a drive-thru order around 4:30p.m. Food was cold as well. I prefer going to Taco Bueno over Taco Bell because to me it’s like “higher” class of the two, but not today. I don’t want anything free from this, I just won’t go back. Maybe I’ll have to stoop down and go to Taco Bell instead. With all the fast food places in Princeton and more coming, you think they’d want to do their best to get people’s business. I didn’t check the food till I got home but I shouldn’t have to check the food because that’s not my job, it should just be done correctly. I understand mistakes and I take that into consideration but when you put no beef on the beef nachos, put 4 small pieces of chicken on a large nachos, don’t even put a spoon full of beef in the soft tacos, and it’s cold, that’s not a mistake, that’s called laziness, lack of training, and just don’t care about the customers.

Was in last night seen an older hispanic gentleman touching food bare handed never washed his hands once. Had an attitude woth the customer on front of me like he was upset he had to work. That customer and I both said we wouldn’t be back he said they dont care our money wouldn’t be missed when asked to speak to manager he said it was his store if we had something to say say it to him

Princeton Taco Bueno is the worst. This is my last time. When I pulled through the drive through, there was a female employee outside laughing with a guy. I placed my order and there were no cars in front or behind me. I waited 13 minutes at the window before the laughing female employee showed up to the window. I said “obviously you’re not the only employee because you are laughing with someone. I thought you had forgotten about my order.” She pointed to her headset for the reason she was laughing and said “Oh I dropped your burrito on the floor. I need to go make another one.” When I drove home 3 miles away – all the food was cold. Cheese not even close to melted on the refried beans. “IF” she re-made the bean burrito, there was only one spoonful of cold refried beans at one end and the other end was tortilla only. The Chilada Plater was cold and messy. Now I realize why there were no other customers. I don’t know how this TB stays open.

Once again, Princeton disappoints. The family loves bueno, but this always leaves a lot to be desired. The food is thrown together, which is odd given the amount of time you have to wait for it when there are no other customers.

Went through the drive through about 8:20pmish and ordered my food. Took 20mins sitting in the drive through waiting. Once I got my order, checked the bag and they omitted the 2 large chips & queso and gave me 2 party tacos instead. Went inside and showed them, they gave me to large cups of queso and 1 small bag of chips. I was tired and didn’t want to argue, so I left. Got home and found that of the 10 party burritos that I ordered were 1/2 full and didn’t seem like cooked much. Opened some of the party tacos and found 1 with almost no meat, lettuce and/ or cheese. Ordered 10 of those and about 7 were filled that way and the taco shells were either not cooked or stale.

Felix was so friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked in. He greeted us with a warm welcome and offered suggestions from menu. The food was made exactly to our liking and tasted great.
