In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We went through the drive through at 8:15 pm on a Monday night. There were 8 cars in Line ahead of us. 35 minutes later we placed our order. When we got to the drive window to pay a customer inside the store was yelling at the employee at the counter that she had waited over an hour for her food. We ordered a wholotta platter with chicken and when we received our food they gave us a chicken chilada platter instead. But after waiting so long already I wasn’t about to make them fix it. The beans were so dry I wasn’t sure if it was ground beef or beans. So almost an hour wait and not even what I ordered to begin with. I should’ve known better. This place always has workers who don’t want to be there. Therefore the quality of the food and service show that. This is by far the most reliable Bueno if you want old food and terrible service. We will not be back to this location. I’d rather drive an extra 10 minutes to go to a different location. The building is also dirty and not kept up. I am not one to complain about anything but I’ve wasted my money too many times here and others should be aware before going to this location.

Went through the drive through ordered a simple order with no changes, and worker says its 10+ i knew that was wrong told him and he treated me like an idiot, I finally backed up and took a pic of the menu just to be charged correctly and even then he acted like he didn’t want to give me a refund for the overcharging for the stale,small ,amount of food that I got. Went back Talked to manger she was kind but offered nothing but my pico they left out of my order for my horrible experience. This was the last for me ill stick with taco bell!!!

Only gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because its normally decent. I got a chicken quesadilla that is inedible. The cheese was not put on evenly so it all came out of the quesadilla. There is barely any chicken on it and the tortillas are too tough to eat. Beans were also overcooked and hard to eat on my Mexi dip and chips. Ive been going to this taco bueno for a long time and this is the worst I’ve seen come out of it.

Stopped by this Taco Bueno for a quick bite while traveling, and it turned out to be a great choice. Easy in and out, fast service, and the food was fresh and tasty. The lobby was being cleaned while we were there, and even the bathrooms were spotless. You can tell the staff works hard to make the whole experience a good one. Definitely a solid stop on the road.

From what they advertise and what you actually get is a huge difference. What a rip off. My expectations are low when coming to places like this however they never fail to drop below already low expectations. Prices are continually going up and service and quality continue to go down. Will never make the mistake of coming here again.

Family came to sapulpa for Christmas parade. I’m not going into too much detail but I will say this is the worst place anyone can decide to eat. I promise you will hate your food and maybe even get sick. They serve days old chicken and the beef is not properly made as well. Don’t even try to contact corporate office they just don’t care at all. I promise that when it comes to taco Bueno these days taco bell is just much better and that sucks because taco Bueno used to be really great. I blame district managers for not properly training managers and the managers taking the position a d not knowing anything about taco Bueno standards.

Soft chicken taco was cold and the chicken was burnt (literally the pieces were black) asked for it to be re-made and the second one wasn’t burnt but was cold. The tea tasted…dirty (for a lack of better choice of words). To dine in, you had to pick a table to sit at that wasn’t as dirty as others (none were clean). Trash cans were sitting out, maybe the cabinet was broken they were suppose to sit inside but it “seemed” like the staff were too lazy to put them where they belonged because they certainly weren’t concerned about the dirty tables or area around the salsa bar. We were there about 4:00pm during a weekday. I would suggest spending your money elsewhere….

I just wanted 3 bean burritos after a long day, but they partially filled with dried up old beans or something I’m not sure…gross though. also took forever for just a quesadilla and bean burritos even after we finally got to the window….guys were nice but our food was garbage and we waited forever.
Edit to reply: The thing is, this isn’t a localized issue…most often this is the experience when going to bueno, typically the employees are either overworked, understaffed, or sometimes they may not care, but in my experience no one really wants to do a bad job. Always liked the food, but the issue comes from higher than restaurant level as much as yall probably don’t want to hear it.

Went to this location last night. Gave money to employee for food and manager shows up and yells at us multiple times to show our receipt for service. With the employee who took our money was standing right there and didn’t say anything. After showing receipt, the manager continued to be very rude. Then we got our food and the burritos were very cold. Very very bad experience at this location.

Okay to grab a quick bite. Generally the manager is outside smoking. It wouldn’t bother me so much but he walks back in and goes right behind the counter. I dont want his nasty hands unwashed anywhere around my food. Or the register that his employees touch.
