In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. This is the third time I have left this location thinking I had my whole order.
I’m losing money at this location.
Last time I was missing the bueno burger, so this time I checked and it was there but not wrapped all the way and a lot the beef was in the bottom of the bag.
This time my order was missing two orders of tortilla chips that are supposed to go with the meals.

We went inside to order. There were only 4 workers there. Me a cheese quesadilla, shouldn’t be that hard right, just cheese and a tortilla? (Spoiler alert) Nope. I sat down and waited 47 minutes 30 seconds for my quesadilla to come out, (after asking for a refund so I could leave), and the food was still horrible. Let alone I should’ve been able to get my water, They Also Forgot!!!! 1 star obviously WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! Never again!!

whoever the girl was working the drive thru around 2pm on wednesday october 29th was VERY rude. she literally didn’t let me speak. she kept closing the window in my face whenever i was asking for firehouse salsa. she closed the window in my face THREE times. she had a nasty attitude. she hardly interacted with me except to tell me “IT’S IN THERE” when i asked if she put firehouse salsa in my bag. she didn’t greet me, and she didn’t tell me my total either when i asked how much it was!!!! probably not going back there after this.

Went through drive up and husband didn’t check order. After getting home half the order was missing. We live about 15 miles away so had to drive back to get the rest of my order. They were snotty about the whole thing which made it worse. I’ve now learned you can support the local Mexican restaurant for the same price and get higher quality food and service so bye bye Bueno.

Placed an online order and they’re saying the order got bumped. Took me over 1.5 hours to get my food. This is not okay and is insane. I checked in when I got here 5 minutes before the given time that the order should’ve been completed. Management at this location is a joke. They aren’t understaffed and its not busy in the lobby or drive through. This location needs an overhaul, I will not be returning.

Have bee. Sitting in the drive-thru for 14 min. When I pulled in there was no one ahead of me at the speaker. I sat there for 9 minutes before any one said a word to me. I am still waiting for my food and it has now been 17 minutes. I ordered 2 bean burritos.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The associate took our order. Me a small drink, a taco salad, and a party burrito. My mother a nacho salad and a “large coke.” We ate. It was nothing special. Fast food. After we paid and ate the associate approached my mother and I while we were cleaning up our table and told us that my mother ordered a small water and I a large drink. And we would not be welcomed back unless we paid for the drink. If this associate reads this, please watch any footage you have back and you will see that I ordered first and that you immediately pulled out the small drink for me. The soda I paid for. And my mother said a large Coke for the record. I would not be so annoyed by this had I not been called a liar. Will not be returning to any Taco Bueno. Ever.
P. S. I found my original receipt showing I paid for both drinks. Took it back to show the associate, Anna, and she never even apologized.

This store is incredibly understaffed, to the point it really shouldn’t be open. Why would they schedule 3 people on a Friday night? I’m dont care for the attitude of the young male manager but the issues is always speed of service or lack there of. This will be the last time I come here, I’m still waiting for my food ive been here 20 min and the guy in front of me even longer. The only reason I’m still here is because my kids are hungry.

The new store manager is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Extremely rude and unprofessional!! And the enormous pot hole in their parking lot needs to be fixed before you guys get sued over it. It’s BAD!! I ordered the chicken nacho salad and there wasn’t a single chip in it. All of the other employee’s were great!
