’50s-style diner chain for American eats such as burgers & chicken-fried steak, plus breakfast fare.
Red Dirt Reviews
Pros: friendly place, cool old school diner vibe, food is edible, good prices and portions
Cons: the constant con is the waitress never writes down the orders and our pretty much all orders were wrong today. A lot of items were out of stock and staff was unaware of them, eggs were soggy/ burnt tasting.
Picture is of the inside of my omelette, still runny but burnt on the outside
Overall, probably gonna try new places for breakfast

Fun and classic place to go, good fried food. Nice staff. We had heard they had big portion sizes but that wasn’t our experience. I had the smallest Reuben I’ve had at a restaurant, and the bread wasn’t particularly rye-y. Husband had a regular-looking burger but good fried pickles and a fun milkshake. Great, clean place to take your family.

My server, Ryan, was so friendly. This was my first time eating here and she gave me great recommendations to try. I had a burger, fried pickles and an Oreo shake. They were all delicious and it didn’t take long to be made. I will come again, not just because the food is good but the service was delightful too!

Lovely service! All the staff members were very kind. The Cherry Fried Pie and Coffee are really good! I do wish the music was not interrupted by the Boomerang advertisements, but the music selection was good.

Decided to try these guys for once took my girlfriend in with me to get lunch/breakfast. Sat down or got her food sorta quick wasn’t busy. I was about a third of a way through my ultimate breakfast platter three eggs over easy bacon, sausage, hashbrowns with cheese and onions and toast. I cut into one of my over easy eggs and I find a piece Of plastic, about 2 inches long, which looked similar but melted wrapper that the straws come in, and I peeled it out of the egg A small bit to confirm. It had since gotten busy in the restaurant and I tried to flag down a Server. When I did finally, I showed them the plastic and they tried to argue with me and say that it wasn’t plastic that it was part of the eggs. I’ve been cooking eggs for 30 years and I’ve never seen one have the consistency of plastic. Or smell like plastic. I lost my appetite at this point so when she offered to remake the platter, I declined and I stated I would not be paying for the platter. She said she’d have to talk to a manager manager again tried to gaslight me and say it wasn’t plastic and it was Rude about it again declined a remake of the platter. My girlfriend finish your meal. I took the check to the front at Mill point. Did anyone apologize for the inconvenience of having plastic in my food nor did they when I went up to the register to pay, I stated I will not pay for the platter. Well, I can give you a discount because you ate part of it, but you didn’t finish it. And I stated no, I’m not finishing it because I found plastic in the food. They threatened me if I don’t pay for it so I paid and walk out when I got to my car to look at the receipt. I noticed that they charged me for the wrong meal and give me a different receipt. I went back in and confronted them about it where the cook was also now standing at the front because of the egg situation and he got in my face and I told him loudly so everyone in the store could hear me better not eat the eggs because they like to put plastic in them. Since he wanted to have an attitude and again try to gaslight me and tell me that’s not plastic and that I should get my eyes checked. I told him I could cook better eggs than anyone in this restaurant never going to any boomerang diner again and I recommend everyone stay away. If I could give zero stars, I would

We have been here before multiple times and had great service but today we waited over an hour for our food just for the server to come back and tell us the kitchen “lost” our ticket after a HOUR of waiting. Pretty sure it will be our last visit here.

Boom-a-rang diner located at 331 SW C Ave, Lawton, OK 73501, nice, clean, friendly diner, children welcome, great food, loved their roasted corn, we had the breaded pork chop with mashed potato and gravy, we were expecting one pork chop and there was two, so you get your money worth.
Although Addison was our great server, all the workers made sure we had everything we wanted or needed. I’m thinking we must have had a bottomless glass because we got plenty to drink.
I liked that looking around on the walls there were lots of pictures of different movie stars. Mostly of Elvis, there was a figure of him at the entrance which was really cool. We will be going back as it is close to the mall, like across the street. Thank you all for a great experience. You all did a good job.

I had the BLT, and a salad. My daughter had the cheeseburger. It was all delicious, but when I tell you I now crave the burger and the ranch dressing I am so serious! The service is just as good! The atmosphere is so fun. We hung out with my army graduate and lingered for awhile and it wasn’t a problem. Our server was so sweet. The food was so good we stopped at another location the next day on our way back to Missouri.

I can’t rate my food because I never got my food or was able to order. I think they had 1 waitress for the whole restaurant and one “helper” who wasn’t doing much but could have jumped in and got orders. Offer some free fries or something while I’m sitting there waiting. After 30 or so minutes I got up and left. Half the restaurant there hadn’t had their orders taken yet. I’m only putting down what I saw and experienced. They definitely need more help or something.

Went in to dine and ordered my food which consisted of a diner double, fries and fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were so overly coated that I had to peel off most of the breading to find the mushroom. The mushroom was good but the breading was horrible. Got my burger and tots (which I did not order) and asked if I could get my fries I ordered and she said to keep the tots and she would make my fries. Ate my burger and finished it and never got my fries. Come to find out they gave them away to another customer. She said she could make them but why bother I was already done eating. Then place it to go order and was given the order and it was wrong. The waitress actually had to chase somebody out that had ordered it but they hadn’t given it to them. My order was ready and I did receive that. I didn’t catch the waitresses name but she had very red hair and she was not very polite. They had another waitress who did not help us in any way but she was just very loud. This was not a good experience all the way around due to the food being wrong twice and given away and then the waitress with her attitude.
