In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you’re sure to taste the difference.

woman in the drive thru was extremely rude, whatever you don’t know customer service. But we drive all the way home and the “burritos” are tiny and scrawny, like are we serious? This place is a joke

Very poor service and the night manager is sooooo rude. We ordered a party combo with 2 extra party burritos. When we got all the way home, we realized that the 2 burritos were missing so we had to drive all the way back to get it fixed. When we arrived, we had to wait for the night manager to arrive because employees told us on the phone that they could initiate a refund but had to wait for the manager to drive back to the store. We were kinda of confused as to why there wasn’t a manager on duty to begin with.. we wait about 10-15 minutes for the manager to arrive just for him to tell us a refund could not be initiated because we didn’t bring the wrong order back with us, which is fine! We did get our order fixed. But his response after we told him the employees working told us we would get a refund was so unprofessional. He said “well they’re not the ones in charge, so if it’s that big of a deal, you can come back when the GM is here tomorrow.” No apology or anything, but the girl who we spoke with on the phone was very apologetic and very very sweet!

Waited outside for 20 minutes. They had some loyal customers waiting for a while as well. Once I saw them leave I left as well. On top of that they messed up my last order. Needs new management or something idk.

I don’t even eat here but the experience I just had with the so called girl/lady “manager” definitely makes me not want to ever come here. Simply came for a pick up that turned into a 15-20min wait. I didn’t mind waiting as I’m patient and understanding especially when the drive thru line is extremely long. But now to not acknowledge someone who’s been standing at the counter for 5 mins but simply acknowledging the people walking out and having the audacity to give me attitude when I just wanted to know how much longer I should be waiting is crazy. How unprofessional to be a manger and be like that and then leave the line because you’re mad to leave 2 people to take care of everything. Not sorry, but how I grew up you give the attitude then expect it be given back.

I always go inside to order. 10 crunchy tacos 10 bean burritos i was there for a hour they were not understaffed I and the elderly lady and i and were treated terribly after I ordered the lady ordered and the young man tossed the change and bills on the counter and went on the floor the manager was right there and saw everything and didn’t say a word every taco and bean burrito i ordered evey shell was broken and bearly any beans on my burritos this was the worst service I have ever encountered in my 50 + years im upset with my order no doubt but im mostly disappointed with how they treated the elderly lady cussing and rude and I would have thought the manager wouldn’t let that happen. It’s a damn shame that place went to hell like that I won’t be back and im calling corporate tomorrow morning

Man running drive thru was not friendly however my main issue was how little meat was in my street tacos. The ingredients used taste good but you’ve got to give me more then 3 small pieces of meat for $1.99 each, come on guys. I ordered 3 for $6 (they had an advertised discount they did not give me) and I’m going to have to get more food elsewhere.

Bueno is always good! Their salsa is literally some of the BEST around! They have something for everybody! One of our goto places for a quick bite! Best fast food Mexican around! I lo-key really miss the cilantro rice!

Special Order Muchaco w Meat and Cheese ONLY! NO VEGETABLES! ALLERGY!! $35
Was given PREVIOUSLY MADE BEEF&BEAN BURRITOS! OLD, WITH A FAILED ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE LETTUCE FROM “OLD” BURRITOS! PREVIOUSLY MADE BURRITOS! DISGUSTING! After throwing up for half an hour, and stabbing myself with two EpiPen’s(first one outdated didn’t work), I call them for a 10min hold and disconnected for being upset. BS!
I don’t want the order “remade”!
I don’t trust these nasty gross people!
Taking the “lettuce and tomato” off of an Old previously made burrito??
Sounds like more work than making it fresh? Right??
Does Management direct their employees to do this??
Recycle old product?!? Any other unethical practices with peoples food!?!
Our family enjoyed Bueno for forty+ years! This Mustang location has destroyed any faith in the franchise for us! That sucks!

Waited 30 minutes. Order was not correct and items were missing. Asked for order meat to be added to nachos like I ordered. The manager Kevin opened my container and put the meat on my food and then placed ground beef in a container for the other nacho. Never added missing food. I asked for a refund on my $40 order and he refused.
