First time we were here. We stopped by for dinner since it was recommended to us and we were starving. Hubby ordered a burrito superior and I ordered the grilled steak fajita. First off, the burrito was so thin. There was nothing inside the burrito but a little bit of flavored hamburger rolled into a burrito shell. The rice and pinto beans were on the same plate plate. My Fajita was normal portion and came with pinto beans and rice. The unfortunate part was the salsa and the meats were very bland. No flavor. What a shame. Maybe we hit them up in a bad day.

This was one of the best Mexican restaurants in the tristate area. They will make your food and drinks to custom order and it is all absolutely delicious. That combined with friendly staff and a on their health inspection report really impressed me. It’s a must go to local hidden gem.

Kick off your week with a stop at Taco Brothers in Flatwoods!

From the moment you pull in, the experience feels inviting—the parking lot is well-kept, the building design stands out, and the bright mural out front makes the perfect photo op. Inside, the energy is just as welcoming, with a team of attentive staff who work together seamlessly. Drinks stay full, and food arrives quickly without sacrificing quality.

Start your meal with their creamy queso or flavorful street corn before moving on to the main event. Some of my go-tos are the birria burrito loaded with cheesy, savory goodness, the California burrito that’s hearty enough for two meals, and the Baja shrimp taco with just the right amount of zest. Portions are generous, so plan for leftovers.

To finish, treat yourself to dessert made fresh at their sister restaurant, Fratelli’s in Barboursville—rich, moist, and decadent, the perfect sweet ending.

If you’re looking for a great way to start the week, Taco Brothers is it.

Ordered food yesterday and there was a big bug in my salad. Was sick over this all night. Luckily I did not eat the bug.

Went to Taco Brothers with my wife and a couple of her friends following a recommendation from a local Facebook page.

The service was beyond efficient. I don’t think I have ever been anywhere where I have been seated and served faster.

We each got the two tacos with rice and beans deal. The food was delicious. The atmosphere in there is great too – someone was being sung happy birthday shortly after we arrived

My wife enjoyed it so much that she went back with another friend today!

By far the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. Street corn and guacamole are perfection. Fish Tacos and chori-polo entrée meals are tremendous. Service is exceptional. The bright festive atmosphere is a stark contrast to the other Mexican restaurant in the area. Highly recommend this place.

Great, authentic food well portioned and at decent prices. In particular, the Baja Fish Tacos are awesome! Also of note are the shrimp tacos and queso. Definitely recommend them if you are anywhere close.

Omg. Wow. I honestly just thought it would be another run of the meal Mexican restaurant. Nope. The food is so good it’s not even funny. The steak fajita plate I bought was literally enough to feed two to three people. I got my son a chicken taco and he ate every bit of it which is unusual for him. I have been eating at several Mexican restaurants over the last 20 years and this one has to be the best. La finca would be a distant 2nd but they are now out of business. The serving sizes fit the price. While you might think some plates are expensive, you need to consider the amount you are getting. It’s a lot.

Excellent food and great service! Usually the first few weeks are rough on new restaurants but TB seems to be galloping right out of the gate. The drive through doesn’t have a menu board so order online or call for pickup. Highly recommend!!!

After much anticipation I finally made it to Taco Brothers. I ordered through their Facebook page and ordering was simple, very user friendly. The staff at the restaurant could not have been any friendlier or more enthusiastic. I ordered a bowl. I chose to customize my own. It was fresh and the portion was adequate and it came with free chips and salsa. I wasn’t able to finish my all my food. The food was disappointing. The chicken was yellow and salty, the entire bowl was over salted. I order cilantro rice and extra cilantro and you couldn’t tell it was in there at all. No spice, no distinct flavors at all other than salt. Perhaps there is a trick to ordering the correct combination and I just don’t know it but I probably won’t try again. I have attached photos of what I ordered and the unbagging of the order.
