We’ve visited this location several times. Depending on the time of day, the drive-through line could be long or short, so it could be a wait. The food is what you could expect from fast food and Taco Bell. It’s decent, yet it is what it is. Generally, all of our orders have been correct and taste okay. Poorly/incorrectly made, as usual. I dont know why I even bother to grab a quick bite here, it is always made wrong. I ordered two items, both with added spicy ranch sauce. Both items were missing spicy ranch sauce. It wouldn’t bother me as much if I hadn’t paid a dollar extra for it. This location is easily the most poorly staffed in town. Order made wrong. Told the fella at the counter the order was made wrong. No apology just snarled he couldn’t take the food back and remade the mistake he had made. Food was also cold. My daughter’s quesadilla was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Everybody makes mistakes. Manners, politeness and good ole’ customer service would have corrected the issue. He acted too bothered to deal with it. I guess getting outside to smoke was more important.

Went in to pick up an order and waited 20 minutes. Finally asked if she could tell me how long & she replied when it’s ready it will be put here. Orders kept going out the door just not mine. Waited 5 more minutes asked again. Same response. Another 5 minutes ditto. Left without the order. She should not be in customer service. Taco Bell do better!!! Here’s the not so charming employee.

This Taco Bell needs serious improvement. I am not sure if the problem lies with employees, management, or ownership, but something is clearly off.
I travel often throughout the East and Midwest and visit many Taco Bells, so I can tell when a store is just having an off day versus when poor service has become the norm. Unfortunately, this hometown location has declined far below others in the Roanoke area. It feels like customer satisfaction is no longer a priority.
The team often seems distracted, more focused on chatting than doing their jobs. Orders are rushed, food quality is poor, and portions are small. Tacos are mostly lettuce with barely any meat or cheese, and cinnamon twists taste stale. My favorite item, the steak cheesy gordita crunch, rarely comes hot and barely has four strands of steak, but then it is packed with lettuce, hardly toppings, the cheese isn’tmelted and barely exists between the shells.
After long wait times, food should at least be hot and accurate. Instead, I have had bags tossed at my window while the worker focused on their conversation with a coworker, and one time I was even told after a 20+ minute wait (with 1 car in the lane and two people total in lobby at 2pm), which I stood watching an entire Netflix episode waiting on my order, “You’ll get it when it gets here.” Managers refuse to address complaints, and I have seen employees playing around while customers wait.
The owner needs to step in. Improve quality, serve fresh food, restore meat portions, and train staff to focus on service. Profit cannot come before product or people. This store’s low 3.1 star rating speaks volumes, and it can only change if leadership takes action.
There are a few good employees, including a polite young man, I can’t remember his name, who often works the window and gives excellent service. He stands out as a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.
I do not mind driving into Roanoke to spend my money at a Taco Bell that delivers on quality, but I would much rather support my local one. I hope to see this location return to the standards it once had.

missing items every time i order. when i go inside to address the missing item, i am ignored for about 10 minutes until someone finally comes over to ask what’s wrong. no apology. occasionally extra tortilla chips in the bag with no cheese as a sorry? this store needs help desperately.

When this place first opened it was actually really good, the pizza hut pizzas were the actual size they were suppose to, bread sticks use to be soft and slightly crunchy but still so soft on the inside, now its already made hard stuff tossed into your face to be as quickly as they can, even messing up on the simplest things like cutting food besides the pizza, the simple yet magic things turned to nothingness, if there was a lower reveiw i could give this place i would, but I cant so I give it 1 star.

Things have improved immensely since I had reviewed back in 2024.
There is a slight wait but everything else is great.
Food quality has improved and as of lately all of my orders,both off the app and in person have been correct.
Customer service has always been great and thank you to whoever stepped in and made everything better.

Ordered a chicken quesadilla and a crunch wrap supreme. Only half of the tortilla had chicken and cheese in it. The crunchwrap had virtually no meat and was all tucked in one corner making it strictly tortillas, lettuce and tomatoes.
