If you’re wanting Taco Bell go to Fairbanks, not the one in North Pole. Even if it’s a bit of a drive, you’ll still get it faster and with less headache.
I made an online order to pick up on my way to Fairbanks. When I arrived the app said my order was ready for pickup. Thats when I found out that they’re interior is apparently always closed, so I have to go through the drive through to pick up my order. There were seven people in line and it took forty minutes for me to finally get to the window. Where I was told that since I didn’t give them my order information at the microphone, they haven’t prepared it yet. They told me my options were to either cancel my order or go to the back of the line that was now six people and wait another 30-40 minutes, and that if I want my online order made, to give them my order information at the microphone. So they can start preparing it. So I can pick it up when I get to the window for the second time. I obviously canced my order.
Then before leaving Fairbanks later on. I placed a new online order for pickup with a Taco Bell there, and had no issues, didn’t have to wait or even talk to anyone. Just walk into the actually open interior and grab my order.
There’s something wrong with this Taco Bell if they have the idea of online orders so backwards that the app says they’re ready for pick up, yet the workers tell you they’re not going to start making your order until you arrive and give them your order information at the microphone after sitting 40 minutes waiting. Plus them demanding that you go to the back of the line if you assume your order is ready like the app says and just go past the microphone. Kinda defeats the purpose of making an order for pickup.

I’m giving it 1 star because it won’t let me leave zero stars. We arrived at 6:06pm and placed our order on the kiosk, to pay with cash at the counter. We went to the counter and stood for 20 minutes. Several employees walked past us, including the manager who was on her phone refilling her beverage from the machine. Finally after 40 minutes, we went to the counter and yelled to get someone’s attention. Someone came out, wanted to know if we had paid. PAID WHO, NO ONE CAME TO THE COUNTER TO TAKE OUR MONEY! Never, will I ever go back to this establishment again! Worst business ever. And when got our food, every taco was busted into several pieces, as evidenced by the photo.

1/8/26. I gotta say in a situation that I think the other Taco Bell‘s in Fairbanks would have genuinely fell apart in the chaos. I gotta tell you that tonight this crew absolutely crushed it. They did a great job with a massive line even with burst pipes. Whoever is in management should really commend this team tonight as they did a fantastic job.

Ordered on DoorDash and as soon as I put in the order they switched it from delivery to takeout. I canceled immediately and couldn’t get my money back. Almost an hour later the same DoorDash pickup person is still waiting there. I called them and they hung up on me and didn’t pick up my he 2nd time I called. Absolute trash.

I am not much for fast food. With that said i have stopped here twice 1 week apart from each other. The staff that o interacted with are very nice. The lobby is a mess. The restroom ( Mens ) is disgusting. The first time i stopped i thaught it was from the person that was camping out in the restroom. But today i used it again and it still smells the same grossness and the toilet seat still has the same poop runs on it from the last time I was here. So in one week that bathroom has not been touched by any kind of soap mop anything… Even though I found the food to be decent with actual stuff in the tortillas and taco shells it really makes you wonder if they can’t clean a bathroom in the dining area what are they not doing in the kitchen? The music is super loud in the seating area they could turn it down quite a bit and just have just a faint sound of it in the background instead of blasting you out with a broken cracked speaker.

The dining room is closed more often than not. I’m not sure why. It’s the only Taco Bell restaurant I’ve ever seen like that. It’s 3:34PM and you HAVE to use the drive through. The drive through lane is horrible too

Basically drive through only, takes about 20-30 min to get your food even if you order in advance because you have to wait in line for everyone else to get their food, and you can’t go inside to pick up because the lobby is almost always closed. Oh and also they just randomly close early so if you order ahead of time on the app and they randomly close outside of their normal operating hours, you are SOL. Also it has the worst drive through I have ever driven through. I love taco bell but this place is not worth the risk or frustration.
