My husband and I went to the Spokane Valley Taco Bell again, and once again our order was wrong. The item that was incorrect was a Doritos Locos Taco ordered with no lettuce, yet it came out with lettuce on it. My husband had to go back inside with the receipt to get it fixed. When they remade it, the new taco had literally no meat inside.

This is the second or third time this has happened, and the only reason we stopped there was because he was hungry and we had a 50-minute drive home. Honestly, it’s sad that when he came back to the car after ordering, he immediately knew he needed to check the food because this location gets orders wrong so often.

I would be more understanding if they were busy, but it was late at night and they were not slammed at all. While waiting, I even spoke to other people in the parking lot who said they never get their orders right either. One woman mentioned she feels uncomfortable correcting mistakes because the staff makes her feel stupid for doing so.

I used to work for Taco Bell, so I know what good service and training should look like. Unfortunately, this location consistently misses the mark. The night shift clearly does not care about order accuracy or customer experience. The food quality is also poor—presentation alone would fail the “people eat with their eyes” standard that the company promotes.

The general manager, James, does nothing to correct these ongoing issues. Instead of addressing problems, he dismisses complaints and creates an unwelcoming environment. It’s frustrating to see a store put on a show for CORE visits and then immediately go back to poor service afterward.

Additionally, this location never honors the military discount—not just for my husband, but for others as well.

All of my family who live in the Valley avoid this Taco Bell because of the service and food quality. I’ve never been more disappointed in a company I once worked for, especially because at our store we took complaints seriously and made things right for customers. This location clearly lacks proper training and accountability.

I know nothing will be done, but I truly wish something would change.

I unwrapped the Crunchwrap.
Steam escaped. Not dramatically—but enough to signal transformation.
The first bite was a revelation.
The crunch of the tostada layer echoed like a metaphor for impermanence. The seasoned beef was both there and not there, present yet dissolving into texture and salt. The cheese acted as social glue—holding together elements that otherwise would have no reason to coexist.
Is this not society?
Hard and soft elements layered together under pressure, bound by something artificial yet necessary?
I chewed slowly.
In that moment, I understood something profound: Taco Bell does not pretend to be authentic Mexican cuisine. It does not seek approval from culinary purists. It simply exists as its own category—fearless, synthetic, unapologetic.
There is something liberating about that.

My fiance was given flavored soda water instead of dr. Pepper. The guy at the drive through tonight said he couldn’t give her a new drink and that she had to buy another I should have went inside and dumped it on the floor and fill is at the soda fountain. Eat at this taco bell if you like missing food in your orders and getting talked down to by a smooth brain highschool kids.

You know what you are getting food wise with Taco Bell. The staff at this location are apathetic and inaccurate. After waiting 24 minutes for our 4 item order, two of the four were made wrong.

When we went to the counter the guy went back to tell them and the workers on the line were giving him grief about the order they messed up. After clarifying three times what their order receipt clearly said, they remade it.

Poor service. Clean restaurant. Awkward environment.

I love Taco Bell and this location. I go, OFTEN! My order is right about 99% of the time. If it’s not, they fix it quickly and apologize a lot and sometimes give a coupon for a free item. I order through the app, and it’s easy and fast and racks up free items quickly. The food is always hot and good. The prices are good too. I get full with 10 bucks. There’s new items often. Some of my favorites are the nachos, cheesy gordita crunch, and the power bowls. It’s cheesy goodness from a fast food chain.

I went here a few weeks ago and got nacho fries and they gave me fries with no sauce. This time I went and asked specifically for the sauce and then when I got home I didn’t have my fries. Just the standard is so low I am not going to waist my gas and more money to correct user error do better at checking ur bags or find another line of work hanging clothes for Ross or something.

Came in on a Saturday for a pick up order. Waiting forever and as I was waiting, heard multiple employees cursing repetitively, mad that they were busy. Saw them throwing the food together. When the guy came to give me my food, he threw the bag on the counter and I said thank you and he walked away without even acknowledging me. This location always has the rudest employees. If you don’t like your job, get a new one 🙂

This taco bell gets it right almost every time. Whenever there was a past issue they have corrected it. I use the app, and go drive thru and takes them only a few minutes once I state I’m there. Isaac and others on staff are very helpful.

I’ve never had so many issues with a fast food place—especially not a Taco Bell. I always use the reorder feature on DoorDash and never make changes to the items. About three weeks ago, I reordered my usual and my cheese quesadilla arrived with no cheese. I contacted DoorDash and was issued a credit. They even confirmed that the order showed no modifications and everything should’ve been on it.

Fast forward to yesterday—I reordered the same meal again, and once again, none of the items came with cheese. Not the quesadilla, the cheesy bean and rice burrito, or even the stackers. I called DoorDash, got another credit, and immediately reordered thinking it had to be a one-off mistake. Unfortunately, the second order came the same way—no cheese on anything.

I decided to just eat the burrito and give the cheeseless stackers to my boyfriend. But I also drove down to the location to figure out what was going on. The person I spoke to on the phone was really nice, but when I arrived, the manager was pretty rude. He insisted that my order came through with “no shredded cheese” selected for the quesadilla—something I definitely didn’t do. I double-checked with DoorDash and my end of the app confirmed it was supposed to come with everything as usual.

Even if that was the case for the quesadilla, it doesn’t explain why my other items were missing cheese too. As someone who also drives for DoorDash, I know firsthand that things can show up differently on their end, but it doesn’t make it okay to treat customers like they’re wrong or lying. And seriously—who would order a cheese quesadilla without cheese?

They did remake my quesadilla, which I appreciate, but they only gave me one stacker back when I had ordered two. Overall, just a frustrating and disappointing experience.

I write this while waiting inside for my food. The lobby is full. People have been here for over 20 minutes for food. Delivery drivers have had there orders cancelled. This cost them money. This cost your business money. The workers are prioritizing drive through. I placed a mobile order for pickup because it’s usually faster. Not today! I counted two fulls lines of car go through the drive through in the time it took me to get my food. That was 24 minutes. I would avoid this location until they can get their act together.
