I stopped by the Taco Bell in Lafayette, CO (the one on W South Boulder Rd) hoping for a quick, decent meal, but this was one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve had. The taco shells were completely stale—like they’d been sitting out for hours—and everything fried (chalupas and cinnamon twists) had this nasty, rancid, putrid taste that can only come from old fryer oil that hasn’t been changed in way too long. It was genuinely off-putting and made me worry about food safety.
To top it off, the service was awful. The staff seemed rushed and uninterested, my order took forever despite the place not being busy, and they got part of it wrong anyway. No apology, no effort to make it right—just handed over the bag and moved on.
I’ve seen similar complaints about this location (and others in the area) regarding stale items and inconsistent quality, so sadly I’m not surprised. Taco Bell can be hit-or-miss, but this was a hard miss. I’ll be driving to a different spot next time—or skipping it altogether. Definitely not recommended if you’re in Lafayette.

Inedible food! Like absolutely inedible Mexican pizza was disgustingly gross they didn’t change the oil in days!! I’ve worked at a Taco Bell this is inexcusable just close if this is what you do!

I haven’t eaten here. Taco bell reviews start at 4 stars. But, only eat the soft/crunchy tacos and the bean burritos. Also open them before eating to add your hot sauce and check out the perfection of your meal.

I got a 3 crunchy shell taco combo & chips/chewse through the app. I picked it up and the lid on the cheese was not on all the way and was tipped inside bag and they forgot the chips. I reversed back to the drive up window and got my chips.
All 3 of my CRUNCHY tacos were soggy. I picked them up and the filling fell out 🙁
Please stop making tacos ahead of time. They get soggy!! Going to take a break from Taco Bell for a while.

Idk who the mom is who is rocking it up in that kitchen tonight but my food has never been so organized.. even put the cold salsa verde on top of napkins as t the top of the bag to keep them cool. Like What?!? Super happy with my order.

Just close this location already! I stopped coming here several years ago because it was terrible in every way but needed a quick burrito today.. stood there watching the 2 ladies type on their phones and when they noticed I was waiting they set their phones down and got busy making my burrito without changing their gloves. Phones are dirty and I don’t want your phone gunk on my burrito. I walked out without my food and won’t be back. This location is rundown and dirty. Its only good for a post-apocolypse set in The Walking Dead.

I went to the drive thru. I ordered 3 soft tacos and a drink. My order was rounded up for a donation without me being asked. I was given the wrong food(it’s tacos how do you mess that up) with ingredients I’m allergic to on it. To top it off you can’t even call to speak to someone about it

This taco bell needs to adjust their posted hours of operation. This will be the 12th time in 3 months that they have not opened on time, with staff insight. It is now 25 minutes past the hour and im still not able to order. I just want breakfast.
