Running Deep
I wouldn’t say we were regulars, but every once in a while, we used to stop by Taco Bell for a quick meal, especially when on the road. It’s been some time since we’ve last went, and I must say that we were very disappointed with our visit on Monday late afternoon. I acknowledge that all restaurants, including fast food places, must deal with rising prices, and unfortunately as prices go up, serving sizes seem to go down. We were shocked at how much Taco Bell has changed and really feel at this point; it is not good value for your money. Plus, outstanding customer service can go a long way in helping a restaurant, but it really didn’t seem like the people working at this location were happy with their job and we didn’t feel valued as a customer. When we asked the woman taking our order if the new dipping burritos were good, she told us that she didn’t know, because she doesn’t eat it.
I got the Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito Combo, that comes with a Beef Taco and a large drink in addition to the burrito. The combo is almost $10, and you would have to spend an extra 90 cents to get a taco supreme, which I didn’t do. The burrito was basically the same size as the taco, and it was mostly just tortilla with very little filling. The taco had a little meat with some questionable lettuce and a pinch of cheese. My wife got the Discovery Luxe Box with Steak Cheesy Dipping Burritos. Again, the small burritos were mostly tortilla with very little filling and her tacos were just as disappointing as mine was. I included photos so you can decide for yourself.
I’m sure that the fast-food business is tough, but in my opinion, Taco Bell has cut a lot of corners when it comes to food quantity, and it’s no longer worth the money. I hope this is a local problem at this Harker Heights store, but we won’t be trying any others to compare. Sadly, we are done with Taco Bell.

Just wanted too give this Taco Bell in harker heights an applause .. I went too this Taco Bell last night around 1:57 am they closed @ 2:00am the customer service from the staff and my cashier Daphne was amazing . (Per usual might I add ). I only wanted Cinnabons after a long day and they still made that happen . Great customer service and it’s greatly appreciated.

Once again they messed up my order. I ordered to of the garlic steak nachos fries, neither one was made correctly. One had another sauce that doesn’t come on it, spicy chipotle when it was supposed to be the garlic sauce.And left out the nacho cheese sauce on both. I rather drive to another location than to order from here again. Too many times they messed up my order.

Every single time without fail my order is messed up or something is missing. I order chips and guacamole with my combo and they only give me chips. I order a side of any kind of sauce I NEVER get it. If I order extra anything I never get it. The food is good but I have not had a correct order since this place opened.

This was a 4 star review, but I need to update it because of my last few experiences here. They will be my last because I’m going to avoid this Taco Bell for at least a couple of years.
Lately, the food has been not very warm and declining gradually in quality/freshness. Today, it came to a point that’s unacceptable when my crunchy tacos had shells that smelled like they’d expired long ago and crunched as if they were extremely stale. When I brought them back to the store, they told me they seemed fine to them and gave me a hard time about it, but re-made the tacos with fresh shells. I certainly hope they checked the expiration dates on the rest of the shells in the store before they get someone sick.

Ordered online and picked up through the window, we asked the young ladies at the window to confirm the order since it looked incorrect, we were rudely told that they can’t change it… that’s not what we asked. Now we end up paying for 4 nachos and she said it was called 4 loaded nachos. Rude and unhelpful and food was sloppily put together. Disgusting and I will never be back. Thanks for nothing.

My daughter and I approached the counter to order our food from the worker that was at the counter. He quickly informed us that we needed to use the computer to order because the workers don’t take the orders. Taco Bell is becoming a cold impersonal place where you only deal with computers. Customer service is disappearing and interacting with friendly workers is a thing of the past.

Harker Heights (2410) paid extra for lettuce and this is what they gave, and for the price I paid, it was not equal to the amount I received. see photos. Thats pretty bad. When you see the photos for their products they definitely do not represent what you get.
