Every taco was falling apart like it had just received bad news. Holders? Apparently a myth. Instead they lovingly glued the shells to the wrappers like a tragic craft project.
They also added sour cream to everything, despite me never uttering the word “supreme.” My 8-year-old took one look and asked, “Did no one listen to your order?” When your child is already diagnosing customer service issues… you know adults have failed.
Then there was the crispy chicken taco. Or should I say: The Chicken Fossil. Overcooked so dry I’m pretty sure it crunched back at me. Looked reheated, tasted reheated, and I had to throw out the meat because I value my lifespan.
The soda? Always off. Always. Flat, weird syrup ratio, giving “store-brand cola but make it sad.”
And this isn’t a one-time thing.
Food missing? Constant.
Wrong items? Always.
One time they gave me a taco with no meat at all. Just tortilla, cheese, and sauce—like a toddler tried to build a taco from memory.
They don’t answer the phone either, which honestly might be a mercy.
But wait—there’s the Cantina Chicken Bowl. Let’s talk about that masterpiece.
Huge mound of rice (which no one warned me about), maybe three beans total, and chicken so skimpy I had to squint to see it. No pico de gallo whatsoever. It was essentially a sad rice bowl wearing a chicken-scented perfume.
Either this location doesn’t know how to make it… or this item should be avoided like a cursed artifact. I love the burrito version, but I tried to go lower calorie today—and apparently that meant “enjoy your rice mountain.”
One of the worst TB locations, hands down. If disappointment were a restaurant, this place would be the flagship.
They did however leave a few items out. I made a comment on the app and the manager called leaving a message that night & then tried calling again the next day & getting ahold of me. She made it right the next time we went through.
Very impressed with how she’s turned the restaurant around and at the excellent communication!
When I went in, a customer was at the counter upset with his steak burritos. He said there was nothing in his burrito and sure enough, there were maybe 3 pieces of steak, some cheese and some rice. Looked super sad. The cook asked him what he had and she proceeded to remake it. While this was happening, I was the only other person standing there while the two girls were chit chatting in the drive thru area. No one came to help until the line cook gave the other customer his food and said something.
Told them about my food and they made it again. No apology from them for either myself or the other guy.
Then as I was about to leave, another guy from the drive thru was walking in with his order.
Not sure if it’s TB or this location, but it was terrible experience. Never going back to this location.
Kudos to the line cook. She definitely was trying but her team didn’t help.
Thank you Ms. Melinda for your understanding and kindness. I suggest approaching management if an order is wrong, etc. She cares! And makes it right!
Glad for people like her at fast food (yummy) places for us lazy ones that want a break from cooking yet can be demanding. : )
