I really love taco bell, one of my favourite fastfood chains. Recently visited this location and I got mix feelings about it. The food was great, fresh ingredients, the fries were hot and crisp, nothing to complain about here, but the service was a little disappointing. First of all, we had to ask to get our table cleaned, I understand that it was very busy, but other places somehow manage to always keep the tables clean. Not a big deal to be honest. Second of all, they forgot a part of my order and I had to remind them about it and had to wait for it to be made. Other than that, I had a great experience

They brought back chili cheese burritos for a “limited time”, and during my childhood in the 80s and early 90s, I used to live off of these. Now, I realize they are not nutritious in any way, nor are they good for you, but they are absolutely delicious! When the girl who worked there asked me if I needed anything else, I told her that I would appreciate it if she would let corporate know that they should bring the chili cheese burrito back until the end of time because I just can’t get enough of them. It’s pretty tough considering I just lost over 120 pounds, but every now and then you just have to treat yourself. I can’t think of much else that I would like besides this very item. The girl had a very good sense of humor and let out a giggle and promised she would send a note to corporate on my behalf!

Im usually an avid taco bell goer at this location and usually nothing bad ever happens and I actually enjoy it… not the case tonight 2/3 locos tacos had hair in it and these nuggets… well… can see for yourself… absolutely appalling…

Was hungry but waited a few extra hours to order until 2PM Happy Hour (cheaper drinks). Wanted to try the new Confetti freeze. Went to order in the app and found out this location doesn’t discount the freezes during happy hour anymore. Switched to other nearby location to confirm that they do discount freezes etc during Happy Hour, and yes they do. I hope it’s worth being this cheap towards your customers that you keep the freezes $3.99 even from 2-5PM. We will take our frequent business to the other location from now on. (Not the first time we’ve compared locations like this, prices also tend to be worse at this Virginia location for the same items). Usually pretty friendly service from the employees here, not upset at them, it’s clear management at this location likes to overcharge compared to other locations 5 minutes away. Pinch pennies, lose dollars, won’t be back. Some of the other happy hour drinks here were only down to $2, when the brand new freeze at the other location was all the way down to $1. Everyone is hurting for money right now and this location won’t even give you a break on a drink for a few hours in the afternoon.

We came here on Friday, November 21, 2025 after a fun evening in Crystal Lake. One of Taco Bell’s perks is that they are open until 4 in the morning. The food is always pretty good, but I do kind of prefer face to face service and don’t enjoy kiosks very much. Again not much to note on but good experience. (Written 11-30-25)

The restaurant was very clean, the service was terrible despite the fact that there were no other customers, the lady who attended me told me that she did not know the menu well, they gave me my food cold. But after heating it in my house, the Chalupa was delicious, I don’t understand why it is the busiest Taco Bell in McHenry County if the service is horrible and besides, the guys who work there serve Latinos very badly!! What a shame about customer service and the food is cold. Only one star because the food is delicious even if they give it to you cold, because the place is clean, but totally disappointed in the place.

This place sucks. Workers are rude and lazy. I ordered to go and they didn’t even say who it was for and just threw the bag on the counter. In the bag, the fries spilled all over and the chicken was burnt to a crisp and my son couldn’t even eat it.

We waiting for 40 minutes for our order pick up. The assistant manager was so rude when I asked her how much longer. They were short staffed I get that but never be rude to the customer. She told me she had no idea how long it will tahe. She was so very rude and yelled it like I am a child. Where is respect for customers and professionalism it’s completely out the door. She should lose her job. She was rude to everyone who spoke to her. Will not be visiting this store again.
