I will always give a new place more than one chance to impress me. My family and I have been customers of this location about a half dozen times since they opened, and I will now never, ever go back. Not ONCE have any of our experiences with the service & the food been good.
From cold food, lack-luster service, orders NEVER being right the first time, I was hesitant to stop last night, however, a 14 hour day & a kitchen redo dictated I stopped for something fast….man, am I sorry I did…
First, I went in to ensure I was able to check my order before I left, and I stuck to the floor with every step I took, it was like they mopped the entire floor with straight up soda pop. I don’t use cards at kiosks, so I was giving a lovely young lady my order-she was VERY kind and attentive. My order came to $75.95, and I handed her a hondo. She apologized and said she had to call her manager to accept it, fine whatever…manager, a young gentleman, came over and promptly SNAPPED at me (before even seeing my total) ‘We can’t accept that, it’s a fresh till!’…”Um, you don’t have $24.05 change in there? My order came to $75.95″….’It’s a new till and we can’t break that!’…”Fine, that’s ok, I can take my order & money elsewhere-“…’You don’t gotta get so nasty!’ As he grabbed the CALCULATOR!! I guess I’m pretty ignorant to expect a manager of any establishment to know basic math…he did take my money, and then I waited in their sticky lobby for my food. The lovely young lady did offer me a free soda, obviously embarrassed for her manager’s actions…I declined politely. After making sure everything was correct, I brought the fast-food feast home to my family…check that-I admit, I pulled my bean burrito out before I left the parking lot-my very first bite of food all day was ICE COLD!!! How in the world do I have ice cold beans in a “fresh” bean burrito?! YUCK!
Two party packs of soft tacos, one (finally!!) correctly supreme, one regular-every single taco was ICE COLD! The chicken cantina burrito would have been delicious despite being ice cold, had the chicken not been DRIED & BURNT & CRUNCHY. Not just one here and there-Every. Single. Piece. Incredibly unpleasant to be taking a bite of your favorite burrito, and choking on old, crispy chicken bits! I live less than 10 minutes away from the store, and every single item of my $75.95 order was ice cold, like they had made all of our food from cold beef right out of the cooler, except for my chicken, which tasted, looked and felt like it had been sitting on the line for DAYS. But it was cold? Cold, crusty chicken? GROSS! I’m also writing this at 4:30am, as I have been up with the runs several times throughout the night…
This store is DANGEROUS. These kids don’t know what they’re doing, their leadership is crap, and now I suspect their food is what’s making me run to the bathroom every 20 minutes all morning. I don’t know who owns & runs this store, but it needs a serious overhaul! I cannot believe they’re still open despite all the bad reviews-with how sick I’m feeling this morning, that store needs some serious help!! Stay AWAY!!!
EDIT TO ADD: NEXT DAY-my husband took his 5 layer beefy burrito to work the next day, unwrapped it to warm it up for lunch, and he said it was covered in dust & hair, like they had dropped it and promptly wrapped it up for serving! These kids obviously packed us up some revenge food, who even does that??? GROW UP!!! (The young gentleman that had an issue with taking my money happened to be the last in the line packing up my order) Absolutely asinine!
Had a great experience at a Taco bell! It’s brand-new in a new and upcoming location. The food was super yummy. They made the best in the state chili cheese burrito. I am also impressed by the level of customer service given how busy it was. I will definitely be coming back again soon
UPDATE!!!
Friday SEPTEMBER 13TH a five star ⭐ to a 1
Wow must be the day really could it be. So before I write this review a man in the store super nice guy you also deny talking to him about a job. Anyway if the owner ever looks at this review please contact me. I will give one week before posting my worst Taco Bell experience in 43 years. On my Google account here and hopefully it will change something that is so wrong with your Taco Bell.
Good luck
And to my friend about the onion it’s not on you!
This is the second time I’ve dealt with the lady who runs the drive through in the mornings and both times she had serious attitude issues.
You’re a poor representation of the brand & the store location.
To catch an attitude and start slamming the drive through window and rolling your eyes because you have to accommodate a customer by putting fire sauce in a bag is absurd.
If a general manager or store owner sees this please feel free to leave your number below. There is more to this encounter & the other encounter & id love to share my terrible experience. As an aspiring business owner myself I’d be appalled to employ someone of this nature & would want to be made aware of something like this. If you can’t treat people with respect, even over such a tiny request you have zero place in a customer service oriented job.
Also the food was somehow cold & practically no filling inside our food. That’s the least of my concerns though.
