Oh, Taco Bell, how far you’ve fallen. I’ve never expected much. The only thing that was reliable at Taco Bell was its general unreliability… I understand that there may be differences amongst the various franchises, but I assure you this. This Taco Bell is shooting itself in its own foot with optional technology prescribed by its corporate overlords. First it was AI ordering in the drive thru. You approach the speaker only to be accosted by a robowaiter yelling at 11/10. The order is incorrectly reiterated to you, and you just get frustrated enough to leave. This happened twice, and then I read that Taco Bell was rolling back on this in a few areas and bringing a real voice back to the speaker. So I go back today to give it a go. No more AI in the drive thru! Score! I ordered a throwback, the double decker, and I’m told I have to order it through the app while I’m in the drive thru. (Insert random unenthused “wut” gif here.) The irony in ordering a nostalgic throwback item only to be told that I have to order it through the app while I’m already in the drive thru! As the 90’s would say.. Get real…

I had placed a mobile order thru the Taco Bell app for in store pick up and upon arrival the door was locked, I didn’t think much since it was kind of late 9:45pm. I thought I would be able to just pick up my order through the drive thru, when I pulled through the drive thru I was told that they are only accepting DoorDash orders due to being short staffed (literally one DoorDash driver in the line other wise empty). I told the employee that I had placed a mobile order, and she refused to make the order because it was not DoorDash. I asked if she could cancel my order and I was told that the order wouldn’t go through and I would get a refund by the end of the night, which did not happen. After 4 days of trying to call the customer service line (whose hours are insane), I FINALLY got my refund process and should hopefully get it with 5 to 7 business days

the consistency at this location has gone down significantly in my opinion. every order used to be made perfectly correct, fresh, not overcooked. now every other time i order, there’s something missing, made wrong, or overcooked.

Never thought I’d be giving this Taco Bell a bad review but my experience last night and today in the attempt to fix it was so horrible, so here we go. All I ordered was a quesadilla and 2 cheese rolls add nacho cheese, and then I asked if they could grill the roll ups.. I’ve worked at Taco Bell on and off thru the years so I know what they can and can’t do, based on their willingness. Turns out they weren’t willing to grill the roll ups, only the team member at the window told me they couldn’t because it wasn’t possible, so that wasnt cool. Then when I got my food (of course I didn’t check after a long day at work I just wanted to go home) and not only did they short me one of my cheese rolls, the one I did have was so flat so I opened it up and no nacho cheese..
Today I called to get it replaced and I asked for the GM as I’ve spoken with her before and she seems so nice, but she’s on vacation for a week and they wouldn’t give me her name.. I was hung up on and when I called back to see who the manager was that was being so nasty, they refused to pick up, or picked up and immediately hung up. Save your time and money, smh

How many times are they going to tell me that I am unable to get the food I paid for through their own mobile app due to them only accepting door dash orders well before they even close?? It is getting very ridiculous I should be able to not only get the food that I paid for, but also when it’s ordered 3.5 hours before they even close. Ordered three cheesy bean and rice burritos and added potato to each, for an extra 90 cents for each burrito and got literally two pieces of potato in each. Ordered a large nacho fry and got less than a regular size. Also nachos and cheese were all over the bottom of the bag.

Bro I hate this Taco Bell it’s second worst to the one on merriman and cherry hill. The workers are so lazy and pathetic. It’s not rocket science to prepare a decent taco. I don’t understand how such imbeciles can fumble such an easy task. I’ve worked fast food and it takes little effort to do the job efficiently.
