1 star – Absolutely disgusting experience, never again
Visited the Taco Bell on Brevard Rd in Asheville around 8:15pm on a Thursday. Place looked dirty from the moment I walked in—sticky floors, trash overflowing by the soda machine, and what looked like old food crusted on the front counter. Ordered a Crunchwrap Supreme combo, a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, and a large Baja Blast.
The food came out in under 5 minutes, which should’ve been a good sign, but it was clearly rushed:
• The Crunchwrap was falling apart before I even got to the car. The wrapper was barely folded, and half the filling (mostly lettuce and a tiny smear of nacho cheese) spilled out onto the bag.
• The Gordita had almost no beef—just a sad little pile of dry meat that tasted mostly like old grease and seasoning packet. The flatbread was soggy and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for way too long.
• Fries were cold and limp. Not even close to crispy. Tasted like they’d been sitting in the warmer since lunch.
• The Baja Blast was flat. Literally no carbonation. Tasted like someone poured it hours earlier and just topped it off with more syrup.

When I went back inside to complain (politely), the employee at the register just shrugged and said “that’s how it comes out sometimes” without even offering to remake anything or refund. Manager never came out. They were too busy arguing with each other behind the line about who was supposed to restock the sauce packets.
Also, the bathroom was out of order (sign taped to the door), there was a weird sour smell throughout the dining area, and two of the four booths had food on them with sauce smears.
For $14.87 I expected at least edible food and basic cleanliness. This was the worst fast food experience I’ve had in years. Will drive the extra 10 minutes to literally any other Taco Bell (or just make a quesadilla at home) from now on.
Never again. 1 star is generous.

Jayden did an amazing job fixing my order. I went through the drive thru. They accidentally gave me chicken on everything instead of ground beef. I went inside and he made it fresh and allowed me to substitute my 2nd item for another one without an upcharge as a courtesy. It was very kind of him. He has great customer service skills.

They didn’t even wrap my burrito fully. Gotta love it.
Update
I got a beefy 5 layer burrito, and the first half had meat, and the 2nd half was all beans. The skinny black guy was rude and didn’t believe us when we were missing the nachos. They had the inside closed, so you couldn’t go in.
It’s one of the most inconsistent taco bells I’ve ever been to. It’s either decent or terrible. The management needs to step in because this is unacceptable.
You’re lucky if they cut your quesadilla.
They burn your chicken nuggets.

There were.like 10 employees making food and running g the drive thru. I orrdered on the menu screens. As I waited for my order I watched these employees work like a well oiled machine! These folks did a great job working together. My food was perfect and fast. The atmosphere was upbeat and chill.

My husband and I went to this location around 6:00PM 11/29/2025. When we arrived there was nobody in the lobby except for the employees who were working. We decided to look at the menu before ordering. While we were looking one family came in. We walked to the kiosk to order our food, as we ordered two more families walked in. We placed our order, paid and stood to the side to get out of the way. Two of the families proceeded to order, and the third family ordered after we have been waiting approximately 5 minutes of waiting. My husband and I are chatting and waiting when we realize about 20 minutes have gone by, we decided to move closer to the counter, as we did so an order was called out. Not our order, it was for one of the families who ordered after my husband and I. Okay they had a little less than we did so I decided to let it go. Another 10ish minutes go by and the second families order is called, who had more food than us. Absolutely ridiculous. At this point we have been waiting 30-40ish minutes for two, only two deluxe boxes. A nice gentlemen from family number two pointed out that we put their order in before ours, which we appreciated. They did began to work on our order. The lady working the dine in/takeout line was super nice but working slower than cold molasses. We finally get our order after 50 minutes of waiting. By this point there are several small groups waiting for their food. We ask for our drinks and get the large cups, we fill our cups up and asked them for lids as they were not at the fountains, “we are out of large lids and have been. We’re not even handing out large drinks”. You’re joking. I then asked for a few small cups so we could take our drinks home with a lid. In total my husband and I spent approximately 50 minutes for a take out order in a FAST FOOD restaurant. Absolutely unacceptable. We will not be returning to this location.

Please for the sake of others do better.

Came here yesterday with my wife and ordered on the kiosk inside. Seemed understaffed and empty but at least there was some Southern hospitality that made us feel good. I placed an order for a spicy potato taco and a grilled cheese burrito with black beans. We got our order and the guy that gave us the bag was really nice. However, as we were pulling out of the parking and my wife was distributing the food, we discovered everything was correct…except for my burrito which had somehow turned itself into a black bean Crunchwrap! Honestly, it wasn’t what I was craving for that particular day, but decided to eat it anyway since it has been an item I get once in a while. A little disappointed with that, but it could’ve been worse.

Since we were staying at one of the hotels for our vacation, we decided to have Taco Bell for dinner once. I don’t know if it is all Taco Bells or just this location but the quesadillas were really thin- may be just one scoop of chicken and cheese. At $6+ each, I ordered 3 quesadillas and was severely disappointed. Because of the quesadilla packaging, one side of the tortilla was stuck on the paper wrappers (see picture). The employees were not friendly at all (no greetings, no thank you) and it looked like they wanted us to hurry up with our order.

Late night crew came through. They nailed my semi complicated order. Food was packaged neatly and in separate bags to prevent spill. Friendly staff. Pay them more.

They were fast making my uber eats order, but the onions had almost a chemical taste to them. Also they forgot to add the avocado sauce I paid for. & some tomatoes had the vine/stem part in them. No utensils or napkins either.
