11SEPT.2025 A nice spot tucked in a shopping mall off of the Golden Mile. My 1st time in here and customer service was wonderful and super friendly. Very helpful with information with the bar (it has the most delicious, fresh dressing for the tacos.
I had the El Pastor tacos and they were on corn tortillas and every bite was so juicy like the first bit. The horchata(iced) was so delicious and hitting on every flavor cylinder. The prices are reasonable for what is being served.
The decor is nice and colorful. So looks like a street in dwntwn Mexico . Spacious and clean inside and great atmosphere. Stop in and you’ll be back for more.

Taco Bar in Frederick is a hidden gem! The tacos were packed with flavor, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick even during a busy time. The salsa bar and margaritas were excellent too — everything tasted authentic and freshly made. Definitely one of the best taco spots around! I’ll be coming back for sure.

Food was amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful. I had the choriqueso torta and wife had the chicken quesadilla. Tortas are huge, served on a large rustic loaf. A meal for two for sure. Took home half. They have a very nice salsa bar with different hot salsas, sauces, fresh topping like cilantro, pickled onions, etc. Will be back for sure.

It’s hard finding good tacos. After moving away from a border city it’s so hard finding good tacos. These are the best tacos I’ve had in a very long time. The pastor is perfect and the lengua was so good. It was worth the long drive from DC.

Decent food, not very good value. 20 dollars for two tacos (which were good!), a very small cup of beans (also good!), and some rice (bland). Also a drink. For the same price you can do better. (This was takeout, would cost more to sit down.)

If you’re looking for authentic tacos, this is the place to go. We had the birria and chorizo tacos, and both were excellent. There was a slight mix-up with my order, but I believe the staff member was new. Overall, it was a great experience.

Los tacos de carnita son lo máximo!!!!
The carnita tacos are just perfect, crispy, fatty and delicious.
There are so many options to choose from but i always stick to lengua, carnitas, tripa or sudadero.
The Tacos are served with just protein on a tortilla, the toppings such as onions, cilantro and salsas are on the side bar. Ask for the habanero sauce if you’d like to spice it up. They have the regular tacos and street tacos, just a tortilla size and price difference (I think).
They have a good amount of drinks to choose from but no beer.
The food is just on point, tasty delicious and fast for a quick bite.
They do accept credit cards, the place is constantly being clean so it keeps its vibrant and clean look.
I gotta try the birria tacos next but this is one of my favorite traditional Mexican taco spots in Frederick.
Fast, straight to the point and delicious, also not expensive either.

The tacos are good, but I’ve eaten here 3 times and I’m tired of their salsa bar! They give you two thimbles to fill up pico de gallo for 4 tacos. Get rid of the thumbles and get bigger to-go cups.
