I ordered by calling food for pickup. The girl who answered was knowledgeable and helpful. She said 20 minutes. We showed up at the restaurant at 20 minutes and paid. Found out there were Dollar slices of pie and got a couple as well. We waited 25 more minutes for our food to come out. The sampler we got had sissy nuggies with medium sauce and it was good but they lacked a crisp texture of a wing and had a softer texture of a chicken nugget. The spinach dip was excellent. The fried mac and cheese balls were excellent. The quesadilla was excellent. The burgers we ordered were the French and the heat burgers. As you can see in the pictures they were under cooked to the point I had to cook them myself. The loaded cheese and bacon fries were great but the straight fries were warm and limp. They lacked any crunch. The pie was apple and caramel drizzle pie and I got 2 slices. They told me they were frozen slices so knew what to expect going in. They were good and came with whip cream but one slice had zero caramel drizzle. For a dollar a slice this was a solid deal. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere on a Saturday night was fun and they had karaoke which was great and they had some people who got really into it. This place reminds me of what Toby Keith sung about in his song “I love this bar” and it’s only missing a live band. This place overall was great but the BIG fumble on undercooking meat took away from this place. I would love to come again to see if it was just an off night for the chef.

First time there. Place was busy but was surprised how long our apps took to come out. Blooming onion was large and good. Pub pretzels were good but didn’t have pretzel salt. If we stopped after appetizers I might give it a second try.
Got the nuggets. Bland breading. For a place known for their nuggets that’s crazy to me. The Nashville hot sauce tasted terrible. Asked for a side of buffalo sauce thinking I could cover up the flavor and it might as well have been water with food coloring in it because it literally had no flavor. Very disappointed with the sauces from a place that literally has a nugget food truck.

Best family atmosphere. Owners are phenomenal people that help out in the community frequently. All the staff is great! Food is delicious and you’re sure to want to be a regular after your first visit. It’s been one of my favorite restaurants for well over 15 years. Definitely try the sissy nuggets!

All the food is first rate, real down home cooking. The Sissy nuggets are absolutely craveable and the house made potato chips are amazing. It’s a nice relaxed atmosphere great drinks and a fun place to hangout and visit with friends.

Overall I loved the atmosphere, it reminded me of my family and the gatherings we would have when I was younger. The food was good however, it was lacking a little in flavor. The cornbread, mashed potatoes and fish were well flavored but the veggies and the fry nugget dish needed a little more there in my opinion. I ordered mine with garlic seasoning and I could taste absolutely none of that. The fried pickles were superb!!! Always love them, they were well sliced and breaded and the sauce was delicious.

Great food at a great price and a bonus the people that working are the best. The owner knows how hire hard working people. Leave a good tip.you don’t see a place like this these days.

Oh man, my wife has always raved about this place and I finally got to try it today. I had the French Onion Burger (Yes it deserves proper capitalization). It was absolutely perfect. Cooked right, nice and juicy.
The service was excellent, the ambience was cool and calm. Football on the TVs and hell yeah Mountain Dew on tap!

Brooke’s nugget wagon was at my son’s Fall Festival at school and the food was delicious! Got the sissy nuggets with the honey BBQ sauce and the pulled pork Mac and cheese! I devoured the Mac and cheese and the nuggets were so good! Definitely going to make a trip to the restaurant soon as I need my next fix! ☺️

I’ve been eating here for 26 years and left perfect reviews but the last few times it’s been mid. My king cut prime rib was a joke and was a terrible piece of prime. The booths move so much that the lady behind me kept jolting me forward. If it’s not fried, don’t eat it. Save the time and money. Service was more than excellent on a Friday night. Sorry Brookes 🙁
