This is a gem in Orange, California. I happened upon this while across the street at a post office.

Everything was excellent. Service was good, cafe clean.

I ordered the crab enchiladas. They were terrific. The salsa is made with roasted tomato.

Highly recommended.

The ambiance is cozy and it’s a small place with outdoor seating. They give you free chips and salsa, the salsa wasn’t spicy but very flavorful. I tried the blackened calamari burrito and the bf had a carne asada burrito. We both enjoyed our meals and portions are big. Service was speedy and amicable. I’m excited to try other items on the menu.

Really good little hole in the wall mexican food spot with some great options. I had the hiuse special which is definitely worth checking out. It’s a blackened chicken quesadilla with a magnificent rub, very flavorful. My friend has the fish tacos and said they were quite tasty. It’s a good spot to have a nice home cooked meal.

Wow! This place is amazing and the food is authentic. We drove 3 hours just to try this spot. I will definitely be back. Chicken pasta is to die for and the chicken enchiladas are so good!

Great little spot on outskirts of the Orange Circle… the service is very good and the food, speaks for itself. They don’t formally cater, but on my last birthday my wife got the food for the party from Taco Adobe – the owner even let us borrow out a warming container to keep the trays warm – Who does that? If you had to order one protein, or if you could only pick one, definitely hit the carnitas… it’s like magic.

Another thing that seems novel, but they do superbly is their salsa. When that basket of chips comes out, you get a little giddy. It’s smoky and just something you have to sit down for yourself and have. It’s a good way to whet your appetite before the food comes out. Also, when you order a soda, be prepared to drink out of a large cup. Good way to wash down tacos or a burrito.

Parking is in the back but be mindful if it’s crowded, it’ll put your 3 pt turn skills to the test. Otherwise, Taco Adobe is a quaint and popular spot, but the food is worth it if you have to park at the next block to get your eat on.

This place is somewhat hidden on one of the quiet, side streets adjacent to downtown Orange. It’s definitely got a nice, mom and pop, hole-in-the-wall feel, with a very relaxed decor.

I had the Salmon Yucateca plate, and the salmon and the veggies were delicious. The only thing that was somewhat off was that the rice was undercooked. My wife had the Chipotle chicken plate and found the same thing to be true with her rice. The horchata was a little too sweet for her liking, but I like mine a little sweeter, so I had no qualms. We both loved the flavor of our meals, though, and will definitely visit again.

The food is fanominal, had the special, blue crab enchiladas, homemade sauce and salsa the best Mexican dish I have ever eaten in my life, and that’s saying something as I love my Mexican food. You will not be disappointed, my suggestion is to ask for the habanero hot sauce and mix it with a house salsa, I might just have to make an excuse to come back this way just for the food

Came here on a hot Saturday afternoon 100f in September 2020. For my first time it was just ok. Maybe the experience would be better on a cooler day and if we ate inside. The smothered rib eye burrito was excellent. The carnita tacos were a little dry. The beer got warm quick in this hot weather. Food was served in take out styrofoam containers and plastic utensils. We noticed when a couple left the table it wasn’t sanitized before allowing another couple to sit down. Not good during this time. Don’t know if that’s normal but it did happen on our watch.

This place was a nice little hole in the wall. It’s pretty standard Mexican food, so you can’t really go wrong. Venilation not so great, so you can smell everything they cook in the kitchen, so may want to sit outside.

Fantastic little hole in the wall spot. The table salsa is amazing but they also have a salsa verde this is great and a habanero if you crave heat but you have to ask for them.
