The food was delicious! Chicken was charred perfectly without being overly dry, the rice was fluffy and the almonds were a nice crunchy touch, the pita bread was soft and warm, and the for two salad woods filled with crispy vegetables. I got the chicken shawarma. The price is fair for the area, there’s plenty of parking because it shares the parking lot with a big movie theater, it’s not far from the highway less than a mile, and the people are always very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a pretty cool vibe and sad as well there’s plenty of seating the lights are kind of dim so there’s a nice ambiance. It’s a great place for dinner or for lunch. They have pretty decent lunch specials too. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Went during lunch on Valentine’s Day, it smelled amazing, beautiful restaurant/decor; we were quickly seated, and greeted by our waitress. (Sorry I can’t remember her name! She was great ) Drinks and delicious fresh bread arrived quickly and our food not long after. It was fresh, delicious and was EXACTLY what we wanted. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will return!

First time here. Best Mediterranean food we’ve had in a long time! The bread and garlic sauce was amazing, as was the side fattous salad. And the chicken shawarma wrap, excellent! Our waitress, Lisa was extremely helpful, and friendly! Highly recommend!

Took me years to actually come to Taboons. I always assumed I wouldn’t like the kind of food they offered. Being stubborn cost me. I could have been eating this delicious food years ago. Live and learn. The food is soooo good here. I’m probably 40-50 visits I have never had a bad meal. Alex the owner is always on hand, very friendly to the customers, cares a great deal for his business and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable every time I’ve been there. Supporting him as a small local business as well is a no brainer. Come and enjoy the food. It’s amazing. Tell Alex that Tony sent ya.

We have lived here for 8yrs & have been really hesitant about trying them. We went to the Grand Blanc, MI location because we have heard bad things from the Flint, MI location.
The restaurant is very clean & our server; Lexie was so nice & helpful with suggestions & letting us know what different things were. We both tried the Shawarma plate; one beef & one chicken. Both were very good. The lentil soup was absolutely delicious. We’re definitely coming back to try either the lamb shish kabobs or the lamb chops. She said they are very popular & really good dishes.

After moving to Grand Blanc I was excited to find the best shawarma I’ve ever had. We usually had good service but one server in particular seemed to ignore my boyfriend and I and it felt weird but we ignored it. Because the food was great. We then went back and had a great server 5 times in a row, it was awesome. Then for a celebration for something special, one day we went in at 3PM during a lunch break a couple weeks later – and we were seated in the same woman’s section who previously seemed to not want to serve us. Except this time she ignored us completely and didn’t greet us at all. After 30 minutes passed where we sat at the table next to one she was serving, in an empty restaurant, with menus and no drinks in front of us, I notified the host stand and someone else immediately started to serve us. I really appreciated the swift help but something feels too uncomfortable for us to go back. It felt too intentional. There are way better restaurants in Grand Blanc where you wouldn’t ever have this experience. For what it’s worth the food was great though, so this is definitely a bummer for us. Also will definitely miss the server who did a great job taking care of us the times before this incident, thank you for helping us have a good time when we did.
