We came to Golden for quick sightseeing. Saw this sign and decided to have Mexican for lunch. Our server was friendly, we ordered tri dips for appetizers which was perfect amount and yummy.

This place used to be good. What happened? Food was disgusting and overpriced. Margaritas were weak and $$ The picture is the inside of the burrito…hardly any meat and thick tortilla wrap. Fajita vegetables were almost raw and undercooked. Experience was especially embarrassing since we were celebrating a friend’s birthday.

This is a great place, my family has gone there for decades. They’re pretty central in Golden and the food and drinks are excellent. Would always recommend the margaritas, and dishes like their tacos and chicken wings are really nice. Service is generally quite good too. Worth a stop.

Delicious brunch place in Golden, CO. Lots of sweet and savory options which made it difficult to choose which to go with. We had a large group with a reservation and we had great service, and it was a comfortable place to eat and spend time with our group. The restaurant is uniquely decorated and the waitress with friendly and helpful with any menu questions. I got the Huevos Rancheros, which was recommended to me. I would also recommend the dish to others looking for a hearty brunch meal.

Stopped for breakfast and was not disappointed! Breakfast margs are a must. Grace was a wonderful service who explained their hollandaise was made with cholua and I was sold! Friends got biscuits and gravy and the burrito, both very pleased as well.

The main dishes left a lot to be desired. The carrots and cauliflower that were glazed were cooked in something that tasted like old coffee and black not glazed. Very disappointing meal. The only thing that saved this from a 1 star review is the appetizers. Chicken nachos and snake bites were very good. I would suggest never buying the over priced, over soaked and not well cooked food and stick to appetizers and drinks . I don’t consume alcohol. If I did this might have tasted better. The staff was lovely though.

My friend and I ordered the local trout, which was really good. I got a margarita which was sweet and not too sour, also delicious. The strange standout that I wasn’t expecting, however: the water! It was the freshest I’ve had at a restaurant in a while? My friend and I cleared three glasses each on a hot day and topped off our water bottles. Our nice day in Golden was enhanced by stopping in here for dinner.
